You can’t buy liquor on Sundays. (It’s a religious influenced law…I think)
The “beaches” are bullshit.
I miss the west coast restaurants/food culture. (El Pollo Loco and local Mexican spots FTW)
Racial tensions are alive and well.
You live in TX and the best you could come up with is Generic National Chain Restaurant? Nevermind City Market in Luling, Southside Market in Elgin, Kreuz in Lockhart, Saltlick or Rudy’s in Austin. When I think ribs, it’s a toss up between Golden Corral and Ponderosa.
Ok. Actually, the best pork ribs I’ve had were at Pappy’s in St. Louis.

Some of the best BBQ in the country is in Missouri, St.louis & Kansas City, one of the few reasons to live there.

I believe it. Awesome pulled pork as well. Dry rub and smoked. Sauce on the side. Can’t fake that in the oven…

The only thing that makes California shitty is the government. The gun laws suck ass, and in San Fran, they even made it illegal to include toys in happy meals. Way to go, you Commie bastards.
Oh, and BTW Famous Daves >>>> Texas Roadhouse[/quote]
I make better ribs than Famous Dave’s and better cat fish.

Wow…you sir need to stop pouring boiling water in your mouth and licking the bottom of your shoe because your taste buds are fucked up. Obviously KC is the place to be when it comes to BBQ.
