I know, but no one wants to eat ribs in a place where they fought to keep slavery. Plus everything about Missouri sucks besides St. Louis Poor Boys and KC BBQ. So, you might as well just let go of KC and let it be KC, KS BBQ. Anyway, there is a few BBQ joints on this side of the boarder.

KC, MO =/= KC, KS

I’m not from the area and I agree - I love going to KC and getting Burnt Ends. KC BBQ > Memphis BBQ > Texas BBQ (I haven’t have South Carolina BBQ so I can’ comment on it).

I LOVE Seattle. It’s only been two years so maybe I will fall out of love. I would love to live in CA but the expense intimidates me. I figure from Seattle I can fly to CA for a big dose of sun and sand for a couple of hundred bucks. Works for me. By the way, DJHT, looking very gunny in that avi!
Edit: Oh I forgot. I’m supposed to say Seattle sucks so people will stop moving here (a doc who’s born and raised here informed me of this). [/quote]
I do like seattle though. When its sunny and not raining its one of the most beautiful places ever… its so awesome for those 11 days a year ![]()
when did this turn into the “hey lets all suck KC BBQs dicks off!” thread?
I live in Alabama. Do I really need to explain why it sucks?

Don’t hate, like I said it’s right across the boarder, plus we have Jericho and the Wizard of OZ.

Don’t hate because California BBQ is sterile and unappetizing.

That is not true! Phils BBQ (which was mentioned earlier) is really good (and was on Man Vs Food… everyone knows only the most baller food places get on that classy show)
Im sure there are places in the south that blow phils out of the water but thats to be expected considering thats where BBQ originated (I believe?)
Arent you from AZ Brother Chris? Pschhhhhhhhhhhh! ![]()

I live 20 minutes from famous daves and texas road house. I ate 4 rolls before I realized I just paid 15$ for a sirloin and shouldn’t eat more of those sweet sweet buttery rolls sent from above.

Edit: Frontier Room on 1st Avenue has authentic southern BBQ. The pulled pork was 'gasmic. The baked beans too. Bartender told me the owner sent the chef on a tour of the south to come up with good methods/recipes. Yum.

Yes that is true actually. I’ve eaten “BBQ” in San Fran. Sucked. I’ve eaten “BBQ” in San Jose. Sucked worse. I’ve eaten “BBQ” in Valencia. Sucked. I’ve eaten “BBQ” in Redding and you know what? It sucked as well.
But enough about BBQ. Back to why California sucks worse than every other state. ![]()
