That’s a catcher’s mitt.

Haha…catches a lot of hooks

He just likes to troll sometimes.

I hope that’s it… what a terrifying and dim-witted intellect

For all the grown men getting into internet arguments, @tlgains is like 20 and is currently getting an education and work experience that will likely have him in a pretty good place within the next 10 years or so.

He is also a self-admitted troll who is likely best ignored in PWI threads. The fact that people have not caught onto that yet is ridiculous.

@zecarlo

I don’t really ā€œcare,ā€ but that’s a fucked up thing to say. I often appreciate reading your takes on historical, societal, and education-related topics, but you often manage to make yourself look about as mature as the college students you argue most with in these threads.

Then why can he not be trolled? Hard to ignore that idiot when he clutters all threads with his stupid posts.

It’s funny that you are offended for him. He likes to troll; he has said as much. I think he can take a joke, even a fucked up one. It’s not like he hasn’t posted his fair share of them.

That ^^…

…will not correlate well with that ^^. Science.

You could always mute him. It’s probably a good practice for obvious trolls, lest every PWI thread devolve into gotcha trolling matches. Some aren’t worth saving, like this one, but more than enough good threads have gone down the shitter because of internet word sparring.

Which is, of course, why politicans(especially Progressive politicians) do their best to convince minorities that they are not part of society but will be if the right people are elected. It’s why a jerk can be a jerk to a white person…but a jerk can only be racist to a minority…it has to be some big societal issue that can possibly be fixed, instead of the fact that some people are jerks. And some people are jerks on some days and not on others. And some can be fake to your face for a short time but don’t want to live near you. Etc.

He’s said he likes to troll in PWI threads. Elsewhere he’s open about his recent college and work experiences, and converses sincerely with many other posters in the training log section. I don’t think posting dumb stuff on the internet means a person can’t do well in life.

That’s because we’ve never met.

I’m not offended for him. I can say something is fucked up without experiencing any emotional distress over it.

And if you were joking, it’s hard to tell since you stoop down to the level of 20 year olds so often.

(Hey, that was a joke. Don’t get offended!)

Hopefully opinions on the World Wide Web broaden some of his perspectives then, especially as he participates in the more provocative conversations.

Lots of people say, I don’t mean to be a dick but…then, they act like dicks.

Guess what? They’re dicks.

I agree. And everyone does dumb stuff, which is 100% fine as long as something smart is learned by being dumb. But the choices one makes leaves clues -and being a troll (not just joking around, but actively trolling) is 100% a choice.

add: Also, the pattern of trolling I see occurs mostly after an inability to make a cogent argument -make of that what you will, I won’t say what I think.

You care too much.

So, accept the child is going to troll every PWI thread? Why shift the burden of responsibility from the actual instigator of the problem onto everyone else? This is a problem with kids today, no accountability, no responsibility, just do what they want and force everyone else to work around them.

He obviously can’t take it as he has flagged many posts.
