These are all good suggestions, and are greatly appreciated. And conorh, i’m not a fucking powerlifter so i wouldnt have a fucking clue. Other than the above what programs were some of u guys favorites when u first started massing?
OP you should start a proper training log on the forums.
Also video some of your lifts. It could be that you have terrible form.
And change your gym. Find a real gym. A gym where people don’t even turn their heads to look at the guy repping out 500lbs on deadlift. I’m guessing your training at some fitness club\gym where you’re one of the only people deadlifting and squating. That needs to change. If you get a good gym where people train seriously it will make a huge difference to your training. Try and find out where any of the really good bbuilders (or powerlifters) in your area train and go there.
This is true. But unfortunately no car and no job= going where mom and dad pay 4 u to go…and thats where la fitness comes in. There are some strong guys there, but it’s not like a mans gym…Where do i start a log?

OP you don’t look like a monster because: 10 your not strong enough. 20 your not big enough. As most here suggestthe two are directly related.
I have a training buddy (he’s 42 & 5ft 6) he competes in the 75kg (165lb) PL class he’s very lean and has a SQ=210kg (462lb), BP=140kg (308lb) & DL= 230kg (506lb) he isn’t a monster either but does look damn solid.
