Just when I thought I was done with this thread, it’s like “God” brought this to my attention. There REALLY IS A GOD!!! LOL (watch the vid - I’m just imitating her)

Basically, this woman is praising God for the earthquake that just hit Japan. For “bringing the Atheists to their knees”. Thousands of men women and children are dead, and our “good ole’ Christians” are saying it’s a good thing.

I have TWO observations:
The first is that this woman is attributing the earthquake to God and is implying that it is a direct result of her prayers. This is similar to the claims of miracles that have been presented as fact in the scriptures. TBH, this one doesn’t bother me that much. I couldn’t care less what this woman believes in her own delusional mind.

The second is what I have a problem with: She is REJOICING at the death of other people! Now I’m sure you guys will say, “well she’s not a real Christian”. Well guess what? She and a significant percentage of “not real Christians” are going around and giving the rest of you a bad name. Kinda like the Jihad Muslim guys. A few people blow shit up and it fucks it up for the rest of them. HOWEVER, unlike the MODERATE Muslims who actively CONDEMN that behavior, Christians are SILENT when people who “call themselves Christian” start talking that kind of nonsense.

Oh, and one more thing to save myself from another post: When I asked about when the New Testament went into effect, and you guys said “when Jesus died on the cross” (or thereabouts) I became a little confused… ALL of the atrocities I listed earlier happened AFTER Jesus died on the cross… Did some people not get the memo? I mean it’s one thing to SAY “the new testament says NOTHING about hurting or killing other people”, but when you have people and clergy ACTING out the way they have when they are supposed to be following the new testament, do you think there MIGHT be a problem? But no one wants to take RESPONSIBILITY. It’s the old,“They were acting out of SIN”, or, “they were corrupting the word of god”, or "that was the Catholics (or whichever “branch” you want to point the finger at) whatever excuse you give, it doesn’t CHANGE the fact that MILLIONS of people were unjustly persecuted in the name of Christianity.

Here’s an analogy: Most of the Muslim world HATES America, right? We have invaded their countries, supported Israel, used our foreign policy to pretty much fuck with whoever we please over there right? So one could make the argument that the FOUNDING FATHERS would have NEVER supported such actions and they are in direct contradiction to everything America was founded on! So DON’T hate America! That’s not what we REALLY believe! Meanwhile it’s STILL American bombs dropping in their country, killing people that WE have labeled “terrorists”… Do you see my point?

These “people who call themselves Christians” who do evil things in the name of Christ ARE for all intents and purposes to the REST of the world… CHRISTIANS. Why? Because you fail to police yourselves.

When I was in prison there were gangs. Sometimes people would “borrow the power” of a gang to get what they wanted EVEN IF they weren’t a member of that gang… Some people are too stupid to know the difference. So whenever it came to a gang leader’s attention that someone OUTSIDE of the gang was essentially, “stealing some status”, that person would get shanked as if he owed someone a thousand dollars! They made an EXAMPLE out of them! It was clear that they didn’t condone whatever end was being sought. Everyone knew it. You Christians should consider something similar when people misrepresent your religion. Or at least denounce it publicly. Otherwise the rest of us think that ALL of you agree with what that idiot is saying.
