Why Doesn't God Communicate With Us Anymore?

Superstition and special effects aside, I am interested in the apparant ‘message’.
ALLEGEDLY, the V.M. wanted some converted souls to appease the Heavenly Father’s anger.
Sounds very OT and/or pagan to me. What happened?
Did they forget about the NT and the New Covenant?
Or is that part of Japan so backward that they haven’t received the Good News yet?
Perhaps God has become SO ‘afflicted’ that He decided to throw the NT out!
How does God become ‘afflicted’ anyway? The INCORUPTABLE!

You can do what you want, but if I’m going to be a Christian, I sure as heck am going to side with the risen victorius Christ who has already won the battle.

Bottom line response is same as the prior post. Very sad.
See what religion will do to some people.[/quote]Oh you are good man. If someone were to jump in right here they might be deceived into the impression that you actually believe the gospel.

No go ahead, explain to use how it is superstition and special effects? Are there no miracles? And, if you wish to only concentrate on the message fine.

Okay, I hate to bring out the reading comprehension but…the message says nothing about convert it calls for men to “repent.”

Sorry to disappoint you, but the OT Father is the same as the NT Father. Nothing happened, except maybe humans became even more idiotic.

What about it, John the Baptist tells men that they are to repent because the Kingdom of God is at hand, sound like get your act right or suffer the consequences.

I think it is someone else is so backwards that they haven’t received the Good News, yet.

Besides the fact that the article says nothing about G-d being afflicted, yes, G-d is afflicted, “Christ’s afflictions” (Col. chap. i. 24).

Yes, victorious but the Devil is not dead, he isn’t just hiding down in Hell not doing anything. Even though he has no chance of winning…because he has already lost, he still attempts to lead people away from the Lord.

Reconcile them to G-d?

Brother Chris, I think most people left that one alone for a good reason, and since you asked-

So, if I live in California near the San Andreas fault and say that The Virgin Mary appeared to me and said there will be an earthquake, and 37 years later there was an earth quake, then that was a Miracle?

Get the fuck out of here!

Japan is in one of the most active seismic zones on this planet. For gods sake, we adopted the word from their language!

Damn, man. I’m all for faith in god or what ever else get a person through life with a sense of peace and connectedness with some higher power, but Fuck! That is ridiculous!

Happy now?

BC,

Sorry, I got the word “afflict” from Wikipedia…

The second message is said to have included the following:
‘Many men in this world afflict the Lord. I desire souls to console Him to soften the anger of the Heavenly Father. I wish, with my Son, for souls who will repair by their suffering and their poverty for the sinners and ingrates.’

Anyway…it is interesting. I’d put it in the same category as yogis who levitate and fast for weeks. Non-ordinary religious and transcendental experiences. More than anything, I guess I believe in the Law of Consciousness. If there are people, like nuns, who have a lot of time, passion and single-pointed focus…perhaps they can create the space for non-ordinary experiences to manifest.

How do you explain it?
