Form matters most up top. Warm ups with a plate or two or three are just that.
Put knee high socks or duct tape on to avoid bloody shins and pull some freaking weight. You are in a powerlifting forum. What you have posted is ‘check my form benching the bar.’
I wear knee-high socks and practically drag the bar up my shins, and have no problems.
Without even seeing your videos, I can tell you that a form check with less than 70ish percent is all but pointless.
People that have the idea that they need to perfect their technique at 135 before pulling anything heavier will never get anywhere. If your technique is still a work in progress it’s probably not a great idea to pull a 1RM, but you do need to pull something heavy enough to challenge yourself. Otherwise that pretty form you’ve been practicing at 135 will go to shit the first time you lift heavier anyway.
I just didn’t record heavier sets
Well get your ass back in the gym and record heavy sets, like above 80% and post them. It’s pretty simple. Not being a dick but don’t be afraid of showing broken down form at heavier weights. . . we all need coaching.
ya my deadlift day is on wednesday
Scratch that, i wont be doing my max. Sorry everyone, life happens
Who asked you to max out? Just show us a video of you pulling something that actually takes some effort, rather than your first warmup set.
