Why Does Alpha Destiny Get Such Hate on Forums?

I made no mention of powerlifting in my comment.

In a world of people with credentials and accomplishments that can be verified, why would I turn to Jason Blaha for any information on any topic?

Most of what he does should be accomplished by most able bodied men his age. He’s never sweating or out of breathe in any of his videos so I’m assuming his breaks are 5-10 minutes between sets. Not to mention he brags about pausing and not using a belt, yada ya, but he has average lifts for his training age. He’s only considered strong to kids who don’t understand that deadlifting 500 at 220-240 is not that impressive. The only thing he boasts is a 500 squat that was hit god knows how long ago and looked high.

Sincere question: did you read the link that I posted?

Took a look at it a second ago but I dont have time to get through the whole thing right now. Ill take a closer look later. Thx for linking it.

You’ll need a lot of time, haha.

But the good news is, once you read it, you’ll understand “why the hate” for poor Blaha.

Thanks for that link @ActivitiesGuy, I don’t do youtube really and have never watched anything of his but that link and the evidence provided with that link is incredibly damning to this (sad excuse of a) man.

I thought that was a bit rough at 1st, but I can definitely understand your strong statement now.

I managed to get through almost all of it, and that is pretty terrifying if he is as delusional as claimed to be. The strange thing is in his recent videos I’ve never heard him bring up any of those things (except maybe the beef with Layne Norton). It’s like he left all of that in the past and never uttered a word about it again because from what I see right now he looks like a reasonable dude. Pretty crazy stuff

I meant moreso his online presence, but yeah we’ll go with your interpretation

I never understood how blaha gained any traction. The dude just sits in front of the camera talking shit about people from what I’ve seen, which is nothing special in 2017. If I want to see that, I’ll watch any news station or a reality TV show

He pissed off a bunch of Real special ops and intel guys with his stolen valor, then doubled down by threatening to kill them and some other such nonsense, which backfired when they turned him upside down and shook out the stupid.

He really pissed off the wrong people, and they in turn are now set to destroy him.

He has since removed or edited those vids, but they had been copied and are now part of some compilation vids about what a deluded idiot he is.

Im so happy. A couple of tears almost made it all the way out.

Seriously though that blaha summary is well worth a read. Mind blowing

I think the problem there is that his one redeeming feature is the way he speaks. He SOUNDS considered, and measured in what he says. Whatever he says he says with confidence, and a straight face.

Most con artists do.

I have one general question to ask? Why does it matter if the person in question who might be providing the information is natural or not. What should matters is the quality and validity of the given advice and information. This seems to be a growing trend where guys online are just ignoring good quality advice from knowledgeable and experienced individuals based solely on ones natty status. Doing so without even diving deeper into the validity of the advice or into the back ground of the individual in question. So let’s ignore someone giving out advice whom might not be 100% natty. Totally ignoring the fact the individual might have trained for years natty and had reached a pretty impressive level during that period along with having a track record of training others with good results. Nope, they now know shit because they are not natty now… so let’s listen to the individual whom is natty 100% ,regardless if they haven’t done jack or shit or not.

The fact you felt mislead, rest 100% on your shoulder. Maybe if you would say open a book or do some other research and learned basic concepts regarding basic training and nutritional concepts, and not focus on a YouTube personality a 100% maybe you wouldn’t feel that way.

Fact is he whole Natty thing has become a marketing tool… it allows some guys to make that claim IMO to draw people to them. Basically, it has become a catch phrase for individuals to validate themselves. The fact is I know guys whom are 100% Natty whom know jack and shit and guys on gear whom are the smartest SOB’s in regards to training.

all good points. I spent about 13 years training naturally, and the last 3 I have not been. Almost everything I’ve learned in the weight room happened in those first 13 years. The only things I’ve added to my knowledge base are essentially things related to strongman techniques in the last 3 years. But that’s been a go-to argument against me from weak people when they don’t like what I have to say. All of a sudden, I don’t know anything, and I’m just a gear monkey, and my advice couldn’t possibly apply to anyone who trains naturally.
