Out of 10 I would definitely give you one IFYAKNOWWHATIMEAN
Seriously though there’s nothing wrong with you at all. You’re a good looking girl, great attitude the only thing to work on is your confidence. Even there I don’t see too much to worry about. Shy girls are hot!
Just try silly things each day, holding eye contact with a guy you like (not scary eye contact like you are trying to devour all of the information in their brains though), a flirty smile or some such.
Spock, how do you dress currently? Do you have a description of your personal style? How are you expected or required to dress for your profession? How do you want to be perceived by others at first glance? What personal statement do you want your attire to present? Are you willing to sacrifice some comfort for aesthetics and are you willing to step out of your comfort zone?

Well I find it VERY hard to find clothes that fit me because if I can get anything up past the thigh/quad/ass area than it ends up being HUGE on my waist.
Not just like add a belt huge, but like add a belt and it will be all bunchy and ridiculous huge, heh.
I also have big arms and a wide back so INB4 muscley clothing fitting woes.
And I am only 5’0 so even petite pants end up needing to be rolled up into these boaty cuff type things.
LOL
I have three pairs of shoes
Gym chucks which have the Joker on them
Going out chucks which are not high tops so they seem quite classy
and the chucks that I used fabric paint on so I could try and draw the RHCP symbol on them, and ya… It looks like a big red blob so I don’t wear them anymore
HAHAHA
I try to look semi-formalish at work. I work for the city so they don’t want me to be a slob, and I deal with a lot of people.
But I am not in an office so I don’t need to get too crazy.
I wouldn’t mind stepping out of my comfort zone. I typically just buy whatever fits me if it doesn’t look too stupid, LOL.

This came up in the latest incarnation of the perennial T-Nation “jeans don’t fit” thread.
I haven’t ordered anything from the yet so I can’t recommend them per se, but I’m intrigued and intend to try them out. Pants/jeans are made to measure (i.e. waist, inseam, thigh, knee, rise etc for jeans) and start at around fifty bucks. They’ve got other stuff too.
I actually tried this place out. I’d recommend following their advice and ordering a single pair to start off with unless you’re very sure of your measurements.
Don’t do what I did and order three pairs of couple-of-inches-too-short bell-bottoms that you have to wear for 3 months.

So I got a hair cut/died my hair/put on a tiny bit of make up and bought a new shirt…
I think I bumped myself up to a 6.82333, LOL.
I feel like a whole new me (sort of).
Also, desk boy at the gym complimented my hair cut, so that’s cool.
I DO TAKE ADVICE FYI!!![/quote]
I give you a 7
I love the new hair
you just need to stop being shy. since you are a self proclaimed nerd why don’t you date a very good looking nerd? you don’t go for nerds?
maybe you can meet a beer drinking alpha if you hang around bars more and talk a lot or watch foot ball. don’t worry. you look good. good luck

I don’t understand how people keep missing this. Maybe they’re intentionally ignoring it idk. Big jaws on women imply high(er) testosterone. The average man would be more threatened by a big jawed woman than her smaller jawed counterpart, thus being less likely to approach her.
The solution would be to simply take more initiative when meeting men for the first time while showing vulnerability simultaneously.
Also, don’t worry about fucking up. You’re a woman.
