Oh Stu you didn’t…Brilliant
If you don’t have access to a prowler, can you push a loaded Rickshaw?
Do chicks compete there?
I’ve heard of amrit dhaliwal, but she grew up in Canada and is more of a model than a fitness competitor.
I am really impressed with how much a non-issue is being discussed here… Lolz… Without getting racist and without discussing how poor India is … we all know those details… Coming back to the point… This is a non-issue here in India… Body building isn’t all that popular… Though you will find a lot of people in the Gym(thanks to the population) few stick around after a couple of months. The one’s who stick around are generally happy with mirror muscles. If you count the number of BB contests that happen in India and in the US, I think US will win at least by a factor of 2.
Also there is a general lack of education and interest in the people. There are hardly any good trainers here and most of them wouldn’t have ever heard of Rippetoe… Starting strength or 5x5 or Calisthenics are unheard of terms here. Less then 5% of the serious Gym goers do Dead lifts or barbell rows. In my Gym I am the only person who can lift Body weight on the Big 3. I haven’t increased my weight on the barbell for 3 years now because I am not interested in more strength or size(primarily because I am busy with other things in life) but less then 1% Gym goers would be able to match that. Most people above 30 just give up weights which just shows how interested people are wrt weight training. Diet also is pre-dominantly White carbohydrates rich and Protein levels are really low + a large part of population is vegetarian.
P.S : Indians are also bad at Football / Rugby & Basketball but play cricket well primarily because they like it ![]()
