Why are so many of our girlfriends and wives so obese?
Real simple…Coke, Pepsi and Fritolay. You can’t out train a bad diet and most women (and men) today have a terrible diet. Hence, 68% of people in America are over weight. End of story.
Did you know 87% of percentages are made up?
Anyway, People are fat because of they really don’t understand what healthy foods are. It’s scary. You can go and see some women that are bone thin, then see one that is 150+ pounds overweight. It’s stupid.
If people just understood how to eat healthy, a there would be a lot less bone-thin girls and at least a few less fat girls. Also, most women that get the idea to workout usually just run on a treadmill and do ad work. They don’t do anything else because they don’t want to get big muscles…i don’t think most of them are eating enough to gain muscle anyway.
Guys get fat because they usually don’t care enough to eat healthy, or they don’t want people thinking there a pansy for not eating “normal” food (McDonalds, Fried stuff, etc.). Our culture seems to encourage guys eating everything in sight and girls not eating anything.
Whats so pansy about wanting to look and feel your absolute best? Their isnt much nobility in doing what everyone else is doing just to be like everyone else. I dont know about you, but I know I dont want my life to be “average” including my diet.
I agree with you. I’m just saying, I know a lot of guys that get questioned when they try to eat healthy, because their friends think they are acting like a “diet-crazy girl”. They get ribbed for being on a “diet”, when in reality their just trying to make smart choices when it comes to food. Peer pressure can make some people make dumb choices.

That’s really the thing. The ‘lehman’ has no clue what “diet” really means, or how to use the word in terms of a healthy lifestyle.
It’s as much an education issue as it is knowledge of the content of a healthy diet (ergo, healthy lifestyle).
Fat people just don’t know any better, and don’t care to. Partly because they are comfortable doing what they are doing, and don’t understand how bad what they are doing is to them, their families or friends/loved ones.
Body consciousness for those of us that live healthy lifestyles is a big part of it, as we KNOW (at least most of us do) that “diet” is, by far, the largest component.
People accustomed to shoveling 20 twinkies down their gullet to deal with stress, or just 'cuz it tastes good, have no impetus to become aware of what they are actually doing to themselves until it becomes seriously threatening to their level of comfort.
The rest of us… well, we woke up at some point in our lives.
