If Mark Henry actually had enough sense to do something better than fake wrestling (*cough powerlifting and weightlifting)
You mean if he had enough sense to NOT make some serious money and make a decent living with his talents?
…Okay MaloneTD, you got me with that one. You have better logic than me.
I don’t know if that’s sarcasm or not.
I don’t blame Henry for wanting to make some money. There’s no money in powerlifting and weightlifting.
I also wouldn’t blame him if he chose to stay in lifting.

I wasn’t being sarcastic. I made a mistake of overlooking the great things about being a WWE superstar such as being able to buy tons of power racks, building a huge PL gym, etc.
You however are sharp enough to consider those things. It’s a well deserved compliment on your part.

Also, you can’t discount Ed Coan’s 550x2 pendlay row!
Would love to see Henry get back in the strength game, but I think he’s past his prime. Woulda coulda shoulda for him, strong dude no doubt though.

I like Ed Coan, but he’s not in the discussion.

Ed Coan is an American!.. Wait a minute, is this thread exclusively for WSM competitors ONLY?

Who exactly is the strongest american olympic lifter? (pound for pound!) Ed Coan is a no brainer in PL, what about oly lifting?
Going by the last Olympic trials, Chad Vaughn(77) and Kendrick Farris(85) are. Kendrick is currently hurt, and I think Chad might be retiring. That leaves Lance Frye(77), Jeff Whitmer (94) and Norik Vardanian (94) as probably the best few lifters around after Sinclair formulas are applied.
