Who Uses Power Drive?

I’m starting a low carb diet 50-60g/day and was wondering if anyone uses Power Drive while on a low-carb diet?

I’ve never used the product and curious if it will help. I’ve been slightly under 100g carbs a day before and don’t feel my best.

I used it maybe 2 years ago in the summer when I was doing twice a day training. I used it after my first session. Overall I handled the 2 a days (full body routines, 2x daily, 4x weekly) really well. I made great progress. Later that same year around Thanksgiving, I ran the same 2x daily routine, but without Power Drive (becasue I didn’t have any).

I quickly felt like shit and started losing sleep, became restless, felt like a zombie, overtraining ect… My calories were pretty close in both situations and my cardio was even less in the second go round. I’m not going to say with any certainty that Power Drive helped, but I think it might have.

I’ve used it and gotten good results. I think it’s better as recovery though. The overtrained lack of sleep depression etc. is often due in small part to lower acetal-choline and other nuerotransmitter chems. Power Drive supposedly builds those up by giving your body what it needs to do it.

I don’t know if it’s real or not but when I use it in conjunction with Alpha GPC it seems like both work a lot better. That’s just my personal experience though. Other people on the forums have said they used PD and didn’t notice anything.

Guess it depends on how you respond to it.

I only use it after very taxing workouts as a means of CNS recovery. It’s hard to say if it works or not, because I use it so infrequently.

I will say this though: the stuff is delicious. When I do have it, I have to will myself away from the stuff 'cuz I could easily down 4-5 scoops in seconds.

i use it before morning training sessions to get myself going. vinpo has been sufficient for cns recovery since i dont train multiple times a day. as a pre-wo supp in the a.m., it’s fantastic. i could never muster any strength in the morning until Power Drive. while i dont feel different, the effects are quite noticable when i’m actually moving weight around early.

I’ve used it post-WO for CNS recovery. I haven’t used it the past month and I do seem to be a bit more run down and am not sleeping as well. It would be hard to say it is solely because of Power Drive though.

it does taste good.

i wasn’t too keen on the taste when i first tried it, but it has since grown on me.

I took it when I first started back to school and was also on a low carb diet, seemed to help a great deal with focus and over all drive.
