hi, first of i want to say that im really impressed by your numbers (+bw) and your form.
earlier you mentioned “back to sheiko” but your program seems to be somewhat different that’s why i was wondering, if you’re using a certain type of sheiko plan or if you’ve designed your own?
(hopefully questions in the log are ok - if not just delete, ill ask some place else then
)
thanks .)

Awesome! When is the meet? I lifted in high school but haven’t done any since… I am going to go check on out in town this July and next year I plan on lifting in it…[/quote]
The meet is June 8th in Lynnwood Washington

Thank you. And I am running a modified version of a CMS sheiko cycle it’s a real version that I alter slightly to fit my training style. and questions are always welcome here but there is a chance I might miss them
thanks =)
is there any chance that you got you program written down and are willing to share? ![]()
although you write everything down here, it’s a bit inconvinient to look for every last detail here =)
Shieko generally calls for halting deadlifts. Is doing paused deadlifts instead sort of your own intuition with this? I’ve never seen you do halting deads.

It’s just the sheiko CMS #2 routine minus the accessories it would be very difficult to get it all written down on a digital copy to post up
Felt like death this morning but I chose that I would not let that dictate my success today.
Deadlifts
135x2
225x2
315x1
405x1
495x1
Add belt
605x3x5
Dips
10x5
Pushdown/face pulls
10x5
Muscle ups
Workout went better than it had any business going. Fired up for tuesdays squats now. Making the choice to improve!
Hey Ben, what’s your take on the training maxes for Shieko? Should they be true 1RMs, or is it okay to be conservative? I notice that you sometimes adjust your training max in between weeks, correct? Also, I’m running #29 right now, and it’s my first time ever doing Sheiko. What is the advisable approach: redoing the cycle w/ higher maxes, or moving on to a more intense cycle? Could/should the latter be done with higher maxes as well?
Can’t wait to see how you did, man.
