If the top 10% pay most of the taxes to run the country, shouldn’t they get the most say in how the country is run? A guy who pays $1M in taxes should have more say than a guy who pays $1000 in taxes.
That would only be fair, right?

Who the fuck do you think is running this country,?..Corporate America!

80% of all jobs in the US are provided by small businesses, or self-employment.
You say Corporate America is running this country is laughable.

If the US only made the largest corporations (S&P 500) pay the right amount of tax, all your personal taxes could be cut. There are too many companies registered offshore. This would kill the stock market of course.
Be thankful you don’t pay what I do in Canada. It makes me want to puke.
If the US government made the largest corporations pay more taxes, US citizens would pay for it with higher prizes, or where do you think the money the companies use does come from…
First, no one has pricing power. No one! Prices will not be going up for anything…or almost anything. Second, the fucking accounting shenanigans companies are still getting away with is crazy. Companies are being run to make management rich. I am not left wing bitches, I make my living investing other peoples money. The negative of simply enforcing the current accounting rules would be lower corporate profits for shitty companies which most people own in their portfolios.
If you really made your money investing other people’s money - you would know how inane your comments are.
For starters. All prices will go up if there is a punitive corporate income tax.
Secondly - ANYONE that invests money kinows that the only job of the corporation is to maximize shareholder earnings - not management’s.
Idiots.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

And you prove my point.
Name a corporation that is set up to make “management” rich. Just one - before you lapse into another siezure.

Enron, Global Crossing, Goldman Sachs, Tyco
shall I continue.[/quote]
Try naming one that hasn’t been convicted of securities fraud. I knew the Enrons would come up as most of the anti-business folks are too fucking lazy to do any real work.
That is what this post is trying to tell you. Most of the people doing the work are the ones who are anti-business. HA ha.
Rainjack, I could go on for quite a while on how management enriches itself. Look at Caterpillar in the early 90s or UAL corp
I saw American Airlines CEO ask his employees for a paycut and then award his managment team bonuses. The airline was so mad at him he had to resign. Where have you been?
I know, listening to Rush Limbaugh. http://www.usatoday.com/travel/news/2003/2003-04-25-aa-cover.htm

Rainjack, you are truely ignorant. Just a complete fuck up. So dumb I won’t even look at his post again because your complete stupidity makes me want to puke. The Austrian guy is just as fucked.
You are a complete joke. You cherry pick the bad ones and attempt to indict the entire corporate world.
If it weren’t for business - there would be no jobs for the lazy brainless slugs that think they are owed a living simply because they have a union card.
Thank God there are those out there that are not of your ilk that go out, take risks, make money and hire people.
Like it or not - you need American businesses. You would not be driving a car, typing your drivel on a computer, or wearing clothes without it. And before you say that all of those come from foreign companies - unless you are going there yourself and buying them from the source - you are every bit the hypocrit.
Sad that you are so dependent on that which you hate so badly.
Unions have outlived their usefulness, and are now nothing more than a drain on the economy.
But please - continue with your little links. My SEP is flying high on the back of evil corporations. As they say - money talks and bullshit walks.

If you are the one handing out the ignorant tags - I’ll just have to consider the source. You have not presented a real fact since you began here.
Your assertions are the very definition of stupidity.
But please - keep up with the empty name calling. I would like to know who would be stupid enough to hire someone of your demonstrated inabilities to manage anything - much less OPM.
