Who Doesn't Put Their Weights Away?

I surreptitiously add extra weight to the bar after I’m done.

Yeah, I do. Id say 50% or more in my gym dont (uni strength room). I’m fine about it on everything, tbh i can see the annoyance for someone really strong taking everything off, as even when im doing 3 plates a side for the deadlift it gets a bit irritating. My principle would be to leave on what was there when i came, but since most of the time i strip down and start from the bar anyway, ive just made that my job too.

Dumbells always go back, admitedly not always in the right place but thats because the dumbell rack is an absolute joke, if you can even get to it your options are put it in the “lower weights” or “higher weights” part, there is no arrangement, and your very lucky to find a second dumbell easily unless theres two pairs,

it can usually be found at the other side of the gym after being used for one legged bosu ball squats… or something. People also love to stick the 6kgs right next to the 45kgs… it does look stupid as hell.

Side note: The leg press ALWAYS has around 2-4 20s on each side though, but id not be too fussed if i felt the need to use it, the leg press having its own rack as for it, so not far to move them! Bench is left with 20s on more often then not id say, but again its hardly work to take off a couple of 20s, i do think its bad if you train somewhere with say lots of older untrained people though, damaging their joints and such seems likely.

I like to go to my gym dressed in my matching Tap Out gear just to show everyone how much I kick ass! First I go to the rack and start shadow boxing just to warm up. Dudes stand there and wait for me to get out of the way so they can grab DB’s but I don’t care, I’m super awesome.

Then I grab about 5 sets of DB’s and create my very own super set kick ass work out station and work on my chest and hawt abz! Several times I’ll get calls from my bros and I’ll have long conversations while sitting there in my super ass kicking workout station. Once I’m done I’ll leave it all there 'cause I’ll come back tomorrow, the next day and the next day to do the same chest work out.

Then I’ll wander over and give unsolicited (bad) advice to some teenager. After that I’ll flex in front of the mirror for about a 30 min. warm down.

Can you guys handle all this awesomeness?

So I did have to go searching for this thread so I could bitch and moan about the fucking mess my gym was in the other day. Some sack of douche put 2 clamps (my gym is retarded and only has 3 sets) onto the rung of a plate tower. Then he proceeds to unload his bar and put 2x 45lb plates and 2X ten lb plates in front of them.

Sure it wasnt hard for me to move them. Heck I even used the 2X 10lb plates. I FUCKIN GOT MAD! Like the hulk man. I wanted to smash that kid. As someone on here said earlier on…I want to shove a 45lb plate up his ass sideways.

ARRRGH! I’m still angry.

And a question to the people here who tell the gym gremlins to put their weights away. What do you do when if the person says ‘No’? Its not very couth to start beating them into doing it neh?
