Who Are Your Favorite Fitness Gurus?

I have average genetics and do not use steroids, but I admire Charles Glass as a trainer and have learned new things from his videos.

Does the fact that he trains top level bodybuilders who happen to use AAS somehow negate the fact that I have learned things from his videos?

How is the use of AAS in a virtually non-tested federation in which virtually every other athlete is using himself considered “cheating”? That seems more like trying to remain competitive. The lone basketball player playing barefoot is not answering to some higher ethical calling, hes just setting himself back.

Now, you could consider competitors who are using and still finding ways to compete in tested federations as cheating, but in the IFBB? Hell no.

At the EliteFTS Boston Seminar, somebody (forget who it was, think it was Dave Tate but not sure) said something that really resonated with me.

“If you want to be where somebody is at, do what they did to get there.”

You can get more info out of 2 hours talking to somebody who is “where you want to be” than you can out of 2 years of reading.[/quote]

That’s like saying the words you read aren’t some the person would say to you. If you read articles, books and whatever written by someone who is “where you want to be” then it all depends on how fast you can read. I wouldn’t compare the two like you did.

I think you meant… don’t just search the internet randomly and believe everything you read.
