god and Race I wonder what we would do without the option to kill for them. As the mighty " Dick" continues to blend the shades of color through the world and people start to care less about God, who or what excuse shall we use to kill each other. I offer new options:

People who watch Kids in tiaras and people who don’t.
Chicago pizza and New York style
Pussy

Do you really believe there’s no racism in the “north?”
I didn’t say there is no racism up north. I’ve seen, heard and experienced plenty enough to know that. I’ve lived near the north and the south ends of the Dixie Highway. It does get worse as you go farther south.
You’re confusing being more subtle with being less racist.
It has been a number of years since I looked at the state rankings but if I remember correctly Alabama and Mississippi were ranked 1 and 2 for the most recorded lynchings. Michigan ranked lowest with zero lynchings. The Detroit river was where the underground railroad ended. Michigan was the birthplace of the Republican party which was formed to promote the abolition of slavery.

Historically Mississippi and Alabama have been hell on earth for blacks while Michigan has been a sanctuary for blacks. When one of the Scottsboro boys escaped from jail he fled north to Detroit. When the FBI caught him the governor of Michigan refused to extradite him back to Alabama. I’m not confused about which state has historically been a better place.
What year do you live in? You do realize it is 2011 correct? You take historical data from pre-civil rights movement and you ASSUME that the people in the south are still this level.

Your type of thinking is what maintains a level or racism, the rest of the world is trying to move on. You want to beat your chest about how Non-racist this certain area of the country is compared to some where else.

Have you lived or been to Mississippi or Alabama? If those two states were such a Hell on earth then why is it such a high number of black people there?

It’s the time dilation effect of spending too much time on PWI - for every four years spent arguing on there, forty years pass in the real world.

Not sure if your post was meant to get me thinking, or make me laugh… though I feel like crying.

I agree. Having lived in all areas, I have to say that it was way more obvious in the south then up north but just as much or more racist in the north.
