That question implies that racism does indeed exist.
Since we are talking about the USA, asking a question about slavery in general as a historical institution is irrelevant. Itâs also an alt-right ploy that only works on certain undergrads who get too emotional to see the weakness of the argument which made them emotional. Since you like to ask questions, how about answer this: was slavery in the USA racist?
Iâm sure my dog feels that way when he watches me clean his shit up.
Our nation codified that black men were only 3/5 of a man to rationalize not extending them the same protections and human rights that everybody else had.
I was born and raised pretty hard core racist and that moves the needle for me.
The Spartans and the Helots. Nazi Germany and its slave labor camps.
No shit it doesnât exist for the majority. Thatâs how racism works.
Examples of what I think might be racism, and what is not.
Several years ago I was walking past a youth shelter and a young African man stormed out, obviously angry. A staff member came out the door a bit and said, âpeace out, niggerâ. It is likely the staff member was at witâs end with him, but still could have maintained some professionalism. So I think she was racist.
More recently I myself was on the bus. I was sitting at the back corner of the bus, and it was fairly full after a few young African women were sitting around me.
I realized that in a short while the bus would arrive at my stop, so I excused myself to get past them. The idea of course was to be close to the door AHEAD of the bus reaching the stop, so I am not stumbling frantically all over people to get off. One the women initially got up to make space for me to get to the doors, and then mentioned they are getting off at the next stop too.
It still made sense to me to have acted as such. I moved closer to the back doors. The woman who got up decided to call me a racist. while talking about it to her friends the bus got caught behind a traffic light before the stop. I was at the middle of the bus, standing, and decided to sit for the minute or so for the bus to continue.
She then says, âlook, he just sat down anywayâ, and continued saying I am racist. I spoke back to her a couple of times stating my case, and she said, âwho are you talking to?â
Eventually we all got off the bus, but I watched her at the light to cross to the other stop. Damn that pissed me off.
There were plenty of black moors, they were a hybrid of berbers(who were black) and arabs. Indentured servitude is basically the same thing as slavery. It arguebaly could have been racism from English to Irish. So all the cattle kept in cages that donât roam, that live in their own shit, that are pumped with hormones, abused by workers, and killed in gruesome ways arenât slaves? Go watch some videos of dairy cattle and pigs, cows and chickens at slaugther houses and explain how they arenât slaves
Yes way back when but not in 2018. Iâm not talking about pre civil rights im saying in 2018 slavery doesnât exist
Well wether you want to believe it or not that black man reacted that way to me for absolutely no reason. I was polite, explained the rules and dress codes of our venue and even showed him a sign on the wall that had our dress code and he was very ignorant. He was swearing at me, giving me attitude and saying it was because he was black. This is what I mean when you people think that thereâs no way a black person can be racist against a white person. Slavery in America was not racist. Prove me wrong. BLACK Africans traded BLACK Africans in the triangle trade. We are all wage slaves to the NWO anyways so it doesnât even matter. This thread is the reason why we the people will never unite and overthrow the corrupt government, becuase we keep perpetuating the bullshit the media feeds us to divide and conquer us
Berbers are not black.
You have been proven wrong.
You are moving the goal post. I quoted you directly and refuted your statement with a historical fact.
This whole âprove me wrongâ thing is the intellectual equivalent of âhold my beerâ and equally stupid.
Youâve been proven wrong by several hundred years of history. That you want to jump the grand canyon on a steamroller is your choice. Just donât expect too many cheerleaders.
No they did not. The statement civis romanus sum (I am a Roman citizen) meant that Roman citizens were entitled to due legal process in Rome proper could not be subjected to arbitrary punishment no to mention slavery.
Up to this word they listened to him. Then they raised their voices and said, âAway with such a fellow from the earth! For he should not be allowed to live.â And as they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air, the tribune ordered him to be brought into the barracks, saying that he should be examined by flogging, to find out why they were shouting against him like this. But when they had stretched him out for the whips,[a] Paul said to the centurion who was standing by, âIs it lawful for you to flog a man who is a Roman citizen and uncondemned?â When the centurion heard this, he went to the tribune and said to him, âWhat are you about to do? For this man is a Roman citizen.â So the tribune came and said to him, âTell me, are you a Roman citizen?â And he said, âYesâ. The tribune answered, âI bought this citizenship for a large sum.â Paul said, âBut I am a citizen by birth.â So those who were about to examine him withdrew from him immediately, and the tribune also was afraid, for he realized that Paul was a Roman citizen and that he had bound him."
They werenât âmoorsâ but North African pirates. Incidentally, Muslim slavers were occasionally raiding the southern shores of England and Ireland well into the 18th century. The genetic legacy of several million white slaves in the Ottoman Empire is still visible in the streets of Istanbul and Turkish countryside.
Yes it was sinceâŠforever. Romans, Persians and even Greeks had clear notions of what could be considered racial superiority. The only issue is that those deemed an âinferior raceâ were pale and blonde, a complete inversion of current racist standards.
Yes, it was. Tutsis considered themselves whiter that the Hutus so the Rwandan genocide was actually a âkill whiteyâ thing.
Zecarlo I think you are wrong about this. And here is my evidence.

I am sure there were some sub-saharan Moors being a nomadic group I donât think they were an entirely homogenous group. But I agree with as a group you could not define them as a black group of people. But there is this strange movement going on you see people saying the Moors were black.
Also strangely enough Iâve encountered several black Americans who told me that former Jewish residents of Northern Africa were also âhighly melaninatedâ people. The ones who live in the world in either Israel, France or wherever they went are not the original ones and possibly imposters according to them. Baffles me. There are so many people still alive that remember the Jewish presence prior to their departure and none of them confirm this.
People think True Romance was a documentary.
Iâve never said racism ânever existedâ im not moving the goal post. It has existed, I just didnât elaborate enough in my previous comments. And to touch all bases racism very well may and probably does still exist in other countries. In the USA in 2018 racism hardly exists. And if it werenât for the media perpetuating it, it wouldnât exist
How was I proven wrong?
Berbers were like Americans. Some were white North Africans and other were sub-Saharan Africans. Most North Africans countries were and still are diverse like this. I have not been proven wrong you fucking moron
I know you arenât reading posts by others but I just realized you donât even read your own. I donât blame you.
No need to use language like that.
I think its a bit of a stretch to make a comparison of Berbers to Americans. I see the commonality I think your trying to point to though. The history behind the two that led to the diversity you see is way different.
Also the Berbers have hardly any Arab DNA. North Africans are not an Arab people and also even the local dialect spoken in Morocco Darija is virtually unintelligible to Arabic speakers from Egypt onwards.
Berbers for the most part are a much lighter complexion people. The Tuareg people are much darker overall.
But to racism. I think its is obvious it exists on all corners of the Earth. But by far and large we live in the least oppressive time in human history. Although that definitely depends on who you are and what geographic region you reside in because some parts of the world are still not so nice to live in.
The English definitely fucked over the Irish and the Irish were actually the first slaves in the Colonies. A fact hardly ever discussed.
Some might say that black guy you approached was using hisâŠblack privilege. Calling you racist thus rendering anything you did or said invalid.
Also you mentioned NWO. I love wrestling. But I just donât like these new guys. Macho Man was my favorite.
âIâm justifiably in a position that Iâd rather not be in. But the cream will rise to the top , ooh yeah.â
