My girlfriend gave a friend of hers a kilo of tea and her friend gave us a bottle of Johnnie Walker Premier (apparently only sold in Japan) and a Macallan 12 years old. Wow.
Two bottles of fantastic whisky. An excellent gift to receive. I can see a weekend of good sippin’ on the porch, accompanied by a few fine cigars.
How about sippin’ on the sofa watching Eric Young’s fishing show?

Found a new bargain whisky. McClelland’s Highland single malt Scotch. Kind of reminds me of Johnny Walker black without the smoke. It has a nice apple taste. I really like it for a non peated whisky. 22 bucks was a bargain. Might see how it pairs with a cigar later.
Edit sorry about the blurred image

CrowdHater - I received Lagavulin 16 as a gift two years ago and finally cracked it last weekend. It is smoky as hell and I think it’d be right up your alley if you haven’t tried it yet.

I guarantee I’d love it. Can’t find it anywhere. Might try it at a whisky cigar bar near my house. From what I remember it is kinda pricey like Talisker.

Yeah, it’s about $95/bottle. Not quite my thing, but I really, really think it’d be a new favorite of yours.

If you’re every looking to try an Aussie whiskey, Hellyer’s Road is a great drop.
