Alright, so this week I’m shaking things up a bit…I have a side job after hours so my schedule is a little different than normal. Im gonna look at it as upper tonight, lower on Friday (those are the days I won’t be at my side job) and we’ll see how the weekend goes. I’m gonna try to fit in a mini session on Wednesday and possibly Thursday but that highly depends on how my side job is going aka how late I’m working at night. Anyhow I’ll log my upper session later.

Alright…just trying to change things up a smidge. So I started off with guillotine press for my first chest movement, which I have never really done before. But honestly it felt good and it’s gonna stick around a while. With the incline push-ups and dips I was going to failure, and with those push-ups I was using bars to get some extra rom and stretch the upper chest a bit more. On the rear delt stuff I also was trying to hit failure…again just shaking things up and trying to push harder. It’s been a long time since I have done much for bench dips but just like the guillotines they will be sticking around a while. I finished with kb swings as well because I feel it’s necessary. Plain and simple work.
Love it What else could you need? I’m also going to pretend that this is as “done” as you cooked them, and that you’re an absolute savage, haha.

Alright, I’m gonna admit that the past week or so my mental health hasn’t been great. I’ll be ok…I’ll work through it…but it’s definitely been making the drive to train a little harder. Anyhow, I decided to take Jim wendlers advice…sometimes all you can do and need to do is go in and hit the main lift and call it a day. That’s more or less what I did…I did warm up a little, and then I got in 5 good sets of deadlifts. Then I also decided to do 2 sets of back extensions to finish. Short and sweet but to the point. Sometimes less is more.

Quick and simple chest work. Worked up to a couple heavy work sets to start with , and did some lighter repping in my last couple sets. I’m really digging guillotines too…I can definitely feel them in the upper chest, along with a good stretch. I don’t think they are a move to go terribly heavy on, but they seem to be doing something. Handy when you don’t have a proper incline bench haha. And then with flys I was mostly just trying to stretch the crap out of my chest. Simple work but it did the trick. That plus my cardio from earlier today was good.

Footwork drills
I’m not sure how to write this, as I did several different drills, and went back and forth between the different ones too. I was probably at it for a good 20 min. Great form of cardio and a great way to feel very uncoordinated haha
