Banded bench x 4 sets
Burnout bench x 1 set to failure
Flys x 3 sets
Push-ups x 2 sets (elbow started flaring up)
Pullovers x 2 sets

Short and sweet but it did the trick. What’s not shown is the intensity on the bench press work…but it was up there for sure. Had a couple grinders…which I think I needed mentally.

Last few days I have been working out of town, staying in a hotel and so on. I’ll be heading back home today. Once I do I’ll write up how I ate and what I did for workouts in my room (no gym here)

Alright I haven’t been super active on here…just that time of year I guess. But I have been keeping busy with my training and so forth. I have managed to quit vaping, and I do have a couple races in mind to train for in the new year. Possibly an obstacle race too. We’ll see. Also I’m gonna be using my bonus this year for plates lol. My home gym is coming along slowly but surely…my first phase is basically done. Just need plates. Then I can start thinking about the second phase later down the road. But for now, with plates, I’ll be good for a while. My son still likes to work out with me and he’s even been trying to do his own version of bench press too lol. Anyways…that’s all for now.

Ok…so my bonus wasn’t quite as good as last yr, and a couple things come up too so all I could afford was a set of 45lbs bumpers. But that’s certainly better than nothing. It’s still more plateage at my gym so I can’t really complain. We will see what happens when tax return time rolls around. I’m not back home yet so I did a workout this morning using one of the weight plates.

Clean and press x 50 reps
Plate halos x 3 sets
Power pushes x 2 sets
Curls + extensions x 3 sets
Weighted sit-ups x 3 sets
Weighted push-ups x 2 sets
