Which Program for Fat Loss?

Hello I’m currently started Pure muscle mass blueprint, but decided that i’ve gained quite a bit of excess weight. I’m at 6’3 and 190ish lbs, fairly athelic but tend to gain a bit of fat and water weight quickly despite being lean before starting a bulk, using small caloric surplus aswell, should i continue on with current program or try one of fat loss /body composition or high performance fat loss ? Haven’t taken neurotyping test yet, but as far as i’ve read some post throught the forums i would say i’m a 2a type

So you’ve started a program and already want to change it? Worse, directly wanting to go from bulking to cutting? For how long have you been lifting?

I can tell you that 190 for your height is light, and that if you’re natural, no you’ve not gained water weight or almost nothing of it.

So either you have a dirstorted view of yourself and started getting affraid when your abs became blurry, or you’re not training hard and have gained no muscle. Or maybe just ate too much. What’s your nutrition like?

CT says that fat loss shouldn’t dictate the program, so really you could diet on any program. If you really feel more motivated on a fat loss program then there are plenty of options… His Physique transformation on Thibarmy, Athlete lean athlete strong, Zombie apocalypse, 6 weeks to superhero…

been bulking for about 9 months, gained 14 lbs, been lifting for around 4 years so far. Been counting my macros for 3 years, during my 9month bulk my daily kcal intake went from 3.5k kcal to 4k kcal. Could be a distorted view of myself but i tend to get soft in my chest/thighs and abs really quickly. Eating IFFYM but 90%~ of the food stays the same or in the same amounts (no cravings for junk food).

9 months is indeed a long bulk. But 14 lbs showed that you were reasonable. Maybe do a one month mini cut?

Also, try to steer away from IFFYM

I was thinking about minicut for a month or doing 2-3 months cut, next year joining military service so thought of bringing up the conditioning. By iffym i meant that i’m eating mostly “clean” unprocesed foods, just it’s not set in stone if i have buckwheat or rice/ chicken or tuna etc, most of my days i’m meeting my macro needs.

I wish I was as lean as you are. Don’t be too hard on yourself. :+1:

Ok sure if you’re bulking no harm from eating some “bad” things here and there. Being too strict is not good. Meaning just rice, tuna and chicken ahah. Ground beef, salmon, avocado bla bla… But usually when people use IIFYM it’s an excuse to eat garbage so that’s why I’m saying that…

But yeah you’re quite lean! Staying around maintenance and training hard, with a little cardio should be enough

x2 -do one of these
