Which Handgun Do You Suggest?

To the OP, a really nice and economical option is to get a combo of a pistol-caliber carbine and a pistol in the same caliber with interchangeable clips.

Hi-Point 9mm carbine and C9 pistol are like this, as are KelTec’s selections in 9mm pistols and their Sub2000 carbine. You’ll pay about $320 for the Hi Point combo, and about $620 for the Kel Tec combo. I think Kel Tec makes a much better (and more concealable) pistol from what I’ve heard.

You can opt for the carbine or the pistol first, and then get the other half later. That way you can buy extra clips and they’ll fit both guns, and if/when you get ammo it will be simpler.

anyone know what gun ‘harley davidson’ from the movie “harley davidson + the marlboro man” was using at the end? i remember it being a high caliber revolver, but not sure what.

just to add here:
i owned a glock 17, but i actually gifted it to my brother. very user friendly gun, lots of fun with it at the range. i usually managed 4-5in groupings with it. that was my first gun.

a couple months after parting with the glock i went searching for something new. i came across an FNP-9 or Browning Pro-9. i never shot it, but i was very attracted to it. it just felt very good in my hand. it actually felt like my glock in the handle, but had a stainless slide and external slide, which i decided i was looking for.

the day i decided F’ it, i dont have the cash, but ive got credit!, i actually swung by a different store just to check things out before going to the other store, and i found myself a gem. Rock Island Armory m1911. looks exactly like a Springfield mil spec 1911. picked this gem up for $400, although it only came with one mag, was hoping for 2.

this thing fires true, and is actually my first experience with the 1911. i actually stayed away from .45’s after shooting glock’s .45, and not liking how much recoil it was giving me. but the weight of the 1911 actually cuts down on that considerably. i mean, when you are holding a 1911, you know youre holding a GUN.

for concealment purposes- this isnt a gun you can go all “gangster” with and just tuck into your waistband or throw in the pocket of a hoodie. its definitely going to be noticed, as it will require a proper holster or else it will literally weigh your pants down.

damn. im tired, i hope something in there made sense.

When I want to go light, a sturdy folding knife and a Bauer 6.35 Cal. auto are handy…

dang dude, you killed the thread.
