Which Bodybuilder Has the Best....

not to be a party pooper but I give everything to ronnie besides his midsection. Imo that is the only thing that killed his physique. Give him Flex wheelers midsection and WOW! or imo give flex Ronnies back and legs. lol

I will say, and I think I’m one of the few, I think Ronnie had a greater back than Dorian. I know advanced technology/drugs might have helped ronnie get his .vs. dorian but Ronnie seemed wider/thicker/and had more definition. imo.

Flex Shoulders and arms are hard to beat…as are Phil heaths.

Branch Warrens legs are stellar but Platz still gets the gold medal even tho we exclude him.

JJ upper body is amazing. If he had Ronnie’s legs he may be Mr. O lol.

I agree that the ‘crab’ pose most muscular has to go slightly to Dennis with Ronnie close behind.

I’m surprised you guys are all forgetting Levrone…
Hard to beat that weird thickness and all… He had enough weaknesses, like his back or calves, but still? Upper body from the front is insane.

Hm, his calves actually looked ok in that pic above, weird.

Here’s another sick pic… Triceps is all I can say.

Last one.

more levrone

He looked so different over the years… Sometimes absolutely great and pretty much alien as far as muscle-shape went, sometimes more normal like in that one…

I got nothing against levrone and think he should have a few mr. o titles.

Ronnie just had more of a WOW factor…that post of ronnie, levrone, shawn, flex above just show’s how dense and freaky Ronnie was.

The youtube clip of Ronnie .vs. Jay in 2001 shos ronnie’s back at it’s best IMO. When he hits the back double bi and rear lat…AMAZING.

Again Levrone was awesome and is probably one of my top 5 fav bbers of recent time. (flex, wolf, heath, ronnie, levrone, not necessarily in that order)

I wouldn’t take Priest’s arms because I may have a hard time tying my shoes. He’s how tall?

Levrone: The Heroic Demi-God of unappreciated/unrealized potential…With all the hard work & presentation of what should have been an Olympian winner physique, one can hardly blame him for copping a “fuckkit” attitude and going pencilneck (in comparison to his former build that is)…Looking at him today, it is hard to believe it is the same person…He and Serge Nubret never got a fair deal in the USA, IMVVHO…

I agree 100%

I think that even tho levrone is small and out of shape now that he could get himself into ‘somewhat bodybuilder’ shape very shortly. I think he can be in near as good of condition as flex wheeler in a matter of months. That guys genetics are INSANE!

Does anybody know more about the beginning of his training career (PX?)
I always thought that he just basically got big like everyone else at first… Then basically stopped training and only resumed during Olympia/show prep, trusting his muscle-memory to get him back into shape fast. Though he occasionally surpassed his previous level, which then added to his muscle memory…

Just my theory, though.

That’s so fucking cool. That guy’s like the next step in the evolutionary ladder or something…

I’ve seen videos of BBers talking about how they don’t train very intensely when they’re not preparing for a competition because their bodies can’t handle it year-round, but step it way up about 12 weeks before competition.

Why is that? Why do most people try to make gains all year, but they don’t?

He was one of the few guys who would walk around at 210lbs in his ‘off season’ and then gain going into the show at like 240-245. Imo it’s not just muscle memory but the ability to respond very well to food/anabolics/and training. lol

Artem: My personal thought and opinion as to why they say that is because some of them train 6 days out of the week very intensely. But my thoughts are that they take more anabolics, sometimes dangerous levels, ‘in season’ than off season and the weights go up with the chance of injury. lol

Just a thought tho. I’m no pro bber so I can’t tell you for sure.
