I read “Battle of the Proteins What’s the best protein for building muscle and losing fat? by Cy Willson” issue 117 in t-mag where he discusses the different types of protein. He dissed on whey protein isolate. Should i switch from what i take now which is a strict whey protein isolate to the cheaper blends? I pay $.50 for 22grams of protein per serving. If i consistantly get in 35-45 grams of protein every 3 hours from food and isolate why would i want to take any other protein, except for when its sleep time? The whey concentrates have to be blended while i just use a spoon for the whey isolate. He states that the isolates get absorbed too fast but if you eat every 3 hours is your body amino and protein levels reduced so much? What are your views on this?
