If Kevin was to make a DVD of him going from an “athletic” looking 190 that he is now to an Olympia Stage ready 250, I gotta believe that the sales of that thing would be ridiculous.
I for one have never bought a bodybuilders DVD, and I would have to pick that one up.
Side note, I am thinking about picking up Dugdale’s dvd about training with Yates, and I like Phil Heath enough that i might eventually get one of his.[/quote]
I have Kevin’s Maryland Muscle Machine DVD, and the classic pumping iron DVD. SOme people said they don’t like Levrone’s DVD because he “lacks personality.” I don’t give a shit personality or not he was huge and incredibly strong and watching him lift is something else. Great movie.
Flex kinda tried a comeback as well, I believe it was going to be au naturale, but then it seemed to stall out. I was followed his progress on a blog somewhere, and then he just stopped updating it. Don’t know what happened.
Austin, I own Pumping Iron, but i didnt think that even counted, I thought that was a requirement.
Actually, i couldnt find it anywhere, so I just rented it from the local Family Video, moved to Ohio and never returned it.
2 years later I ended up going back there and giving them the 20 bucks for it. They never cared to replace it seeing as i was responsible for both times it was checked out.

Hahaha. That’s hilarious. I think I’m going to make myself a turkey sandwhich and watch it right now. Maybe the Levrone one too. The Two best bodybuilders ever IMHO.

Ronnie Coleman’s Unbelievable DVD is a requirement if you are even half way serious. His others are decent as well. If you don’t get motivated after watching that, getting big and strong is just not for you.

Agreed. I keep a local copy of Unbelievable on my work computer. I’ll always watch a few minutes of it before I head to the gym. It’s pretty much impossible not to get revved up after watching it.

Good point Professor X. Coleman’s “Cost Of Redemption” was the one that I liked so much. Yates’ “Blood and Guts” is pretty solid too.
I often watch a quick youtube clip of Colemam training before heading to the gym. I’ll pick the appropriate bodypart day too. Ronnie’s videos are certainly the most fun to watch!
I’ll second Mytch’s choices. The only 2 DVD I ever bought aside from the requisite ‘Pumping Iron’. THanks to Youtube you can see most of the other vids online, which is always great for those days you just don’t feel like training.
I never bought into Flex’s competing as a natural. Because he had basically shut his own production down from so many years on anabolics, he was still on weekly test injections, but because he had a medical reason (administered by a doctor each week), he claimed he was natural. That’s up there with Ron Harris juicing for 8 years, then stops for 1 year, and goes around championing himself as winning his 1st show ever… as a natural -lol. Nothing wrong is you wanna use, but don’t compete against guys who don’t.
i keep videos of Layne Norton’s Unleashed on my mp3/video player for when i’m on my way to the gym. Besides watching Ronnie’s cost of redemption clips on youtube,Unleashed gets me ready to lift just because layne is a natural who lifts some serious weight.
here’s the trailer
I would also love to see a video of levrone going from his weight now to olympia weight. I got into bodybuilding too late for the Levrone years but looking at videos of him in 99 i can’t believe the guy’s physique

project superhero…wasn’t there a female side of that as well?
them and the physique clinic wrap up are just MIA…sad because they both were very interesting and had/have people waiting with bated breath for results.

Gina Aliotti was the figure side and I think one other female.
I just remember Gina because I see her at every NPC event I go to and she has actually judged me blushes lol shes and NPC judge. Smokin hot and my “IFBB Figure Competitor crush” lol!
The “Physique Clinic wrap up coming soon” banner has been on the site for closing on a half a year or more (i think)… and The project super hero thing died a while ago, the other woman was Jelena Abbou (sp?).
So yeah, TC or a mod, anyone who knows, what ever happened to all this stuff?

We weren’t happy with the format of the Physique Clinic, so it’s back to the drawing board on that one.
If we can figure out how to make it more interesting, we’ll do it again.

What happened with Stan? Is he still a Biotest athlete. I don’t need details, but would like a simple yay or nay lol
I liked having that little glimpse of bodybuilding here.

Is she blonde?
I think she is an NPC judge too. I was talking to a female judge after my last show trying to see what improvements I needed to make (or flirt with the hot female judge) and I think it was her. lol
