When to Take ZMA?

I know you are supposed to take ZMA 30 - 60 minutes before bed. But what if you also have a slow digesting protein shake right before bed?

You are not supposed to take ZMA with calcium and the protein shake containes calcium caseinate as the main ingredient…

So what do you do??

I usually take my ZMA with my tribulus about 45 mins before my casein shake which I take minutes before bed, and when ever I do this I sleep like a brick. :slight_smile:

45 minutes is usually enough time for the ZMA to leave your stomach before you drink the casein.

Also, you don’t need to take ZMA near bed time, many people just do because magnesium is a relaxant and B6 gives some people nice dreams.

It’s main role is to prevent deficiencies of Zinc and Magnesium, which can be done at any time during the day.
