When to Stop Bulking?

Don’t stop untill you have to do reps to tie your shoes… ala tate…

you can eventually do the GS diet, DO NOT go into it right away. Plan on holding your weight for a month or two and then transitioning into the GS diet, probably another month of ramping down. If you don’t take it slow off your bulk you just wasted 6-9 months of training and you’ll end up back at 150 skinny fat.

okay. thanks guys for the advice. my focus will be on gaining, i’ll maintain that for a few months. Then hit get shredded.

The get shredded diet is pretty extreme… I would save it for the last part of your planned cutting.

so basicly:

  1. Bulk to beyond your goal weight
  2. Maintain that weight for awhile
  3. Slowly lose weight
  4. Once your allready rather lean and cutting fat is more difficult then you can try the get shredded diet.

Don’t assign time periods to ANY STAGE. Bulk as long as necassary to reach your goals, maintain that weight until its natural, cut fat until you have reached your desired leanness.
