No sir, I can make my own decisions regarding my health.
Well, not in the open.
And you’re still not stronger than Fauci
Unfortunately not, haha.
Fauci has some great genetics for looking young. I guess the guy is going to be 80 in December. I would have guessed he was in his 60s.
Good decisions?
Sicilian genes.
Yeah you sure can buddy. You sound like a real adult in this thread. You’re all grown up now!
I wear a mask whenever I leave the house. I try to make sure the mask is fitted and toss it when it becomes moist to the touch.
This depends on what you constitute “ridiculous dosages” to be. I assume you use within the form of pure recreation (not a competitive athlete/model/whatever). Your cycle consists of over 1g gear/wk for 15+ weeks, this equates to using high dosages.
This is true… and will always be true so long as your decisions don’t put others in harms way. Why is it so difficult to wear a mask? Why has the prospect of simply wearing a mask become so politicised…
Well we have a moronic leader who never talked about unity and politicized the issue quickly (he wasn’t alone though). Always been weak on the mask issue himself, had his VP go to the Mayo Clinic now, etc. He had a bit of a chance to talk some sense into the loons. But that was all at the beginning when we really needed someone to talk about being in it together, talk about how little things would make a difference, etc. At a time we really need a leader we have a reality TV star.
I could go on but really we’re Americans and we were actually just fine staying in and doing nothing until the moment someone said you should really stay in and do nothing because it will help others. That’s when our patented no one suggests something to me American button goes off in so many brains. Let’s have Covid parties because they say we shouldn’t have a lot of people together herp derp America! A senator who’s a fucking doctor wouldn’t change his behavior even though his coworkers are almost all at high risk. Our two main choices for President were Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton. That should be enough for the rest of the world to know that they don’t need to keep asking “wow why can’t Americans accomplish the most basic simple wide open layup tasks” during a pandemic? We are just pretty fucking dumb at this point. Don’t know if we always were or not. I didn’t think so but right now the evidence is pretty strong. We’re still trying to figure out obesity like it’s a calc 3 problem.
I love you guys, I truly do. You truly are a wonderful source of entertainment during my slow days at work.
Let’s add spoiled, selfish and ungrateful to the list…
It’s not the day that’s slow.
I know, I know. All you have are insults. Try to remain positive, shall we?
All? More like 90%.
nice unintentional pun…
Well and what people have stated about what health professionals are asking you to do. Seems like you “rejecting Covid” is going to lead to a lot of insults sadly. That’s often what happens when people say really stupid things on here.
I am not sure what you are asking about. And that was a lot to read and I still not sure about your question. But I can tell you what I think about this situation with regards to quarantine.
First, the goal of a nationwide quarantine was not clearly stated. As I stated before, was the goal to slow transmission of the disease so that the medical system did not get overwhelmed all at once, or were we trying to eradicate covid all together?
The answer to that question dictates two very different courses of action.
Second, if it is deemed necessary to have a quarantine, we need to have a pretty specific time frame; at least an upper and lower limit defined. The open-ended nature of this quarantine has created uncertainty and that uncertainty has proven devastating.
Third, we did do a quarantine and it was ridiculously long, 2 months of of economic carnage and with a surge, certain states are re-closing further devastating already devastated communities.
I wasn’t against the initial quarantine, but it was way too long. And of course no matter how much you suppress cases, they will inevitably spike when people start getting back together.
Fourth, again the goal of re-closing has not been clearly defined nor has a time frame been determined. At some point, you have to live with this disease. Eradication is impossible at this point.
We bought some time, we have been able to get what appears to be better treatments. And save a couple of small areas, health systems are not overwhelmed. So is re-closing worth the amount of pain it is causing? I don’t think so. At this point, we try to be cleaner, put special attention on the most vulnerable of the population but we move on.
Life has to continue.
Honestly, all these moves seem politically motivated at this point, it’s not a concern about health its about votes.
Agreed.
