When Did You Last Cry and Why?

When I had to put my dog down in 2007 I bawled my eyes out. I held her close and kept repeating the same thing over and over, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Hadn’t cried like that since I was a kid. It really caught me off guard. I loved that dog to be sure but Jaysus it was like Niagra falls in that exam room lol.

I only watched Old Yeller once at the show when I was a kid. Never watched it again.

I challenge any football fan to watch Brians Songs and not get choked up at the speech scene. It still gets to me and I watch that flick once a year.

The last time i teared up… August 31st, 2012: I had a seizure at work, went to the ER(by myself, my wife and I were split up, and I didnt want to tell her just yet). after 6 hours of testing the doc came back and said i have a brain tumor, and that he would be back in an hour to tell my the type and then give his diagnosis. that was the longest hour of my 29 year old life. Especially considering brain cancer had killed my dad 6 years earlier
And?

Now that I re-read what I wrote, I failed to mention the result. My bad. The doc came back, said it was NOT cancerous, but that I am lucky to be alive, considering I have had these blackout seizures for a while now, and I drive quite a bit. I had brain surgery at mayo clinic in november, and am on the road to recovery. I was cleared to start lifting again 6 weeks ago. : )

Oh and my wife and I were split up at the time, when i told her the news, she said she would take care of me. We are now back together. I also now have a sweet 10 inch scar on my head. God is Good.
Congrats my friend, and this post right here basically shoots Orion’s whole theory to shit about a woman not standing by their man.

God Bless

The last time I bawled crying out loud was when my ex breaking up with me finally sunk in when I was 22. That was in Spring 2004, I believe. Thank God I was home alone. Looking back on it is embarressing. With that being said, many things make my eyes water and nose runny, but I don’t start wailing or anything.

Up made me tear up something fierce, when the guy’s wife died after they had led such a good life together and knowing how much he missed her.

A Beautiful Mind does that to me, too, at the end when he basically gives his wife all the credit for making him the man he ended up being despite his mental disorder in his speech accepting the Nobel Peace Prize (? or some other big-time award, can’t really remember). It’s also a good portrayal of Schizophrenia, which people often mistake for Multiple Personality Disorder.
