What's Your Dream Gun?

I had a .308 Vepr. It was ok, not very accurate, Mag selection sucked.

The .308 CZ Bren looks very interesting, like a poor man’s Scar17, maybe. Hopefully it comes to market at around $2000.

Not exactly dream gun, but eventually I plan to get a Crockett & Tubbs set, which would be a S&W 4506, and a S&W model 49.

Don’t forget a shorty shotty! Tubbs used three different models as the seasons progressed. I turned my first Mossberg 500 into a compliant version.

Yes! He did a great job of Concealed Carrying them. If I ever get a SBS it will probably be an Ithaca Stakeout. The famous gunfighter Jim Cirillo basically invented it, and Corporal Hicks carried one in Aliens. Can’t argue with a century and a half of service.

CZ makes nice stuff. I have their 762x39 offering and I enjoy it.

I have a scar 16, 17, and 20. Not very impressed with them to be honest. They run fine and are accurate, but the feel is off for me. Only use surefire suppressors too on them.

So I got my gun chambered in 6MM Arc setup. The round can do what a 308 can in the same package as an AR15. ZEV receiver with proof research carbon fiber barrel.

I keep my eyes pealed for a Stevens 520 every time I go into a pawn shop.

I have a few guns, but am by no means a collector and don’t know that much about them. What the hell kind of optics are on that thing?

A Leupold LPVO into a thermal scope. Also setup for use of NVGs.

A group of us (former seals and ranger buddies) do a lot of night hog and coyote hunting.

That setup with the NVGs will run you about 35-40K

Good lord

M1 Garand. Hopefully, this summer I’ll be getting one.

I am also in the market for a handgun so I’ll be checking this thread for some ideas.

This is two orders of magnitude over my entire gun collection.

Well @Bauber said he lives in Alabama and if you look outside that door you’ll understand why he needs a gun like that pointed at the door to keep people from getting into his air-conditioned space.

Mississippi, but same difference.

I have issues.

If you ever try NVG though, you will mortgage your house for some. High grade ones are addicting…

My brain gets them mixed up all the time, probably due to the mirror-image shapes and similar levels of swamp ass.

Oh, late vote for a real Dragunov. But again, the likelyhood of finding and being able to afford one is slim. I guess id settle for a PSL.

I was excited to see that my new Wingmaster has shipped. I’m excited to have it as a first shotgun. I’m in my 40’s so I buy nice, not twice.

Sadly, that sense of satisfaction was fleeting, like affordable fuel prices. My brief joy of ownership turned into ash and dust when I discovered my new dream gun.

Think I’ll need a class III stamp for that or nah?
