Ha, Hey I thought you hurt your foot doing the split squats? Quite a long time ago, but… I only remember because there is something about the way my foot feels when doing split stance, Ive tweaked my foot too many times.

Matty try angling both of your feet inward some on the split squats. I almost fell down the first few times I tried them. Im not going to say I’m great at them now but by angling both my lead foot and the foot on the bench inward some I can now do sets of ten without losing my balance.

Your right up, that was a little over a year ago when I was training at friends CF gym in Jersey, fucking foot started to cramp up and was killing me for like 2 weeks! Gentle little flower I am. What a site that would be eh? Me flopping around you yelling at me “stay still Jackass!”
Thanks for the tip Dave, these arent BS Squats, thank god these were hard enough! I also think I’m pointed foward too much as Im getting discomfort in my knees as well. Now to tell Adam, that I may just have to do the bar until I get the form right…epic face palm.
Thanks guys, I had a number of 470 in my head so I guess thats why I am dissapoint. Everything felt so fucking heavy, that 455 was one of those where it was a car wreck.
Had to skip day 4 last week due to a case of vagitis.
Squat - 385x1x2 400x1
Messing with my stance, went wider than usual on the 385s and ended up GMing the shit out of the lift. 400 I used my usual stance and it was easy. I am thinking that the wider stance squat may be more beneficial going forward.
Defecit DL (2") - Worked up to 495x1 then failed at the knees at 515. I felt I could of gotten 2 at 495 but today called for a max single. This felt good.
Unfortunately its pretty obvious I fell into some bad habits during that pull most notably my arms were bent, the defecit somewhat correlates to the breakdown in form, but as my pulls go up the last thing I want is a bicep tear.
