I’m with you - I hate maxing out in the gym. I only did a couple of weeks ago because Adam needed a new baseline to work off of since the piriformis issue made me weak as crap on sq and dl.

Interested to see where you come out next week. I signed up for 15 weeks and my test week will be at a meet on October 20. Don’t know if that is the right approach or not but that’s what we are going with. [/quote]
Sounds good to me, have you thought about openers?
The maxing out next week is per Adam, I guess he wants to see where Im at, Im not gonna lie Im pretty curious and excited about it. For me it will give me a baseline of what numbers to attempt at my next meet.

Just doing a push/pull. I have a pretty good idea on the bench, final attempt will likely be at 375 so opener will probably be 320, did 335 paused yesterday pretty easily so that shouldn’t be a problem.
No real clue on the pulls. Before today’s pulling session I was thinking I might do a final attempt around 550 but based on 455 feeling pretty tough today somewhere between 510 and 520 is probably more like it which would put my opener somewhere around 440. Want to see what you pull next week, I think you are a little ahead of me right now on these so what you do might give me a decent idea of what I should shoot for.
Incline DB Press - 100x2x10
SS
Rear DB Fly - 30x3x15
DB Cleans - 30x15 40x12 50x10
Pendlay Row - 225x3x10
Band Pulldowns - 100 total reps.
Fucking shot, no longer on antibiotics but they do a number on me and I felt like I was gonna puke. The 3bd CGBP wreaks fucking havoc on my tris…nice. I usually do sets of 20 with the DB press, I was shot, I could hardly get 10 up
not going to dead this week, may do some band box squats (light) to grease the grooves for the HTS max out week, some light OH press and thats it.

Thanks alot guys, Looking back 30lbs in 12 weeks is pretty good progression, but that 415 truth be told felt very hard! I see some things from the vid that I definitely need to correct (elbows going back for one)
Im running on about 3 hours sleep, supposed to max out on bench today…we will see
+15 lbs increase. The 365 was a bit of a grinder but overall Im pleased, 370 went 3/4 of the way up and stuck.
DB Bench - 80x20 100x15,10
Spoon Press - 75x2x15 60x20
Seated DB Cleans - 30x10 50x2x10 30x15
Reverse DB Fly - 30x20 40x2x20
Weighted NG Chins - 0x10 25x5 45x4,4 0x8
Pinwheel Curls - 30x10 50x10 70x10 50x15
Poundstone Curls - Bar x 40,30
Good session especially with 3 hours sleep. Pinwheel curls give me no discomfort it allows me to release the inner bro.
On another note I have had the pleasure with with training with this guy, his name is Mina, he told me he was Egypts strongest man and he is currently here on a Student Visa. I called Bullshit because WTF is Egypts strongest man doing at a LA Fitness in Staten Island. Very nice KID! hes only 23 this vid I believe was a few years back he has lost 150 lbs since then. Studying to be a pharmacist and seems like a real cool dude. He is a FUCKING BEHEMOTH.
