What's up with it Vanilla Face?

I know I know…I really tried to like them…but Ill take goodfellas over it any day…I catch major flack from not liking it from my dad as well.

I thought that thread was good. I was beginning to think I was the only person who didn’t like the Beatles or Rolling Stones. Also can’t stand U2 or the Foo Fighters. When I say that, people look at me like I clubbed a baby seal in public.

LOL…I still dont understand how anyone can NOT like Will Ferrell[/quote]

Most of his films are crap. He’s a great talent when in the right picture.

I just watched him last night in the dramedy " Everything Must Go". He was perfect.
He’s great in roles where he shows a good bit of depth along with comedy. Another great role for him was “Stranger than Fiction”. Of course “Elf” was great.
Even his bit part in The Wedding Crashers was golden.

Its what makes the world go round I guess, I like and laughed at everyone of his movies some more than others, but I cant get enough of his skits and SNL stuff in addition to the movies. Stranger than fiction along with everything must go may be my 2 favorites of his even though they were more straight roles.

All time favorite though hands down is step brothers.

As far as the beatles and stones go Im pretty ambivalent I find the early stuff awesome espescially the stones the newer stuff pretty awful.

I agree on the foofighters, I find it aggregiously boring rock and roll.

Semi-Pro is an underappreciated flick.

One of my fave Will Farrell SNL skits was the one where he was a co-host on a daily morning show… when the teleprompter went out! It was pure hysterical mayhem!

I also loved when he played that creepy art class model! Also the one where he wore tiny shorts to a business meeting.

There were so many great skits he did.

I always enjoyed the skit where he is like a CEO for a cat toy company and he has to make sure cat toys are good enough for the company to sell…

Agree. Stiff-legged DLs cause much pain.

Matty how are you holding up with adding all of the extra sets to HTS work. I’m tempted to add a couple of extra sets particularly on the upper body days, it wouldn’t be anywhere near as many as you but maybe a little extra shoulder pressing, or rows/pull ups.

I asked Adam if it would be detrimental to the program if I added in chins and rear delt work specifically and he said it wasnt a problem. On pressing days I am used to more volume so it doesent bother me at all, I will add in a bench set of 10 after the HTS work, its more mental than anything I guess. Other than a couple of following through on some temptations I have not gone heavier than the program calls for on the main movements.

The one movement that I did not give up was OH press which I do on my light day, its a movement that I love and really want to get a strict OH press for 3 one day…Ironically I always felt that my triceps were my one strong point and will admit that its the only body part that is not holding up well, I had to tell Adam that my elbows were starting to bitch after all the pressdowns he had me doing.

Cool- Thanks. I feel like I’m getting enough lower body work in but I’m used to a little more upper body volume.

NP Dave…

HTS Training Week 6 Day 4

ITYs - 10x3x10
Internal External Rotator Cuff - 10x3x10
Band Pushdowns - Orange Band x 3 x 20
Band Ab Pull Downs - Grey x 3 x 10
Curls - 30x3x15

Other Stuffs:

OHP - 115x15 135x5 155x3 185x3 205x3 225x3 235x2 185x10 155x10 135x10
Spoon Press - 65x20 75x15 100x10,10 80x15
Rev DB Fly - 30x25 40x20 50x12

My first heavy OH Press day in Quite a while, felt good. I put my grip closer which was a lot easier on the shoulders which have been feeling a little bit cranky as of late. Instead of having my ring finger on the power ring I put my pinky on the power ring and it made a world of difference, 225 for 3 went up very easy.

Its always the little things that can make a big difference.

And that’s a nice number/reps for a SLDL, especially if you hate them

Thanks Yo!

So much more comfortable with that width.

I’m in the same boat. Just got week 5, and I think the weight is too light, and the volumn is low.

Lower body recovers alot slower than upper, and I’m use to hammering it. Struggling with this weight and volumn thing.

Agreed, I always add in extra stuff, after the HTS stuff. IMO Rowing, rear delt, chins and the stuff like that cannot be detrimental unless you go overboard. I also feel the lowerbody stuff is on point maybe I feel the DL stuff is a bit light, but its usually with defecits so I understand.
