So far so good dude, hes certainly tailoring some of the training to my weaknesses i.e. hamstrings!

Here’s a personal favorite along the lines of the bertstare.

werd son.

you know your powerful when you can do the stack.

and damn son- Derek452 why you got Burt giving me the hairy eye.

can a brotard be miring on a bro who can rep the stack.

Is someone being sly?

Anywayz that sure is some heavy pressing, I feel weak enough as it is without looking at those kinds of numbers. Just like hammies, I like tris as well, much better than biceps.

Thanks tech!

Biceps have become the bane of my existence, the pain in my distal tendon in bot biceps has really limited any DB pressing I could do, and its not the pressing part thats the issue its the getting them into place that causes from pretty nasty pain.

I cant curl anymore, and I know its just curls but I do believe some direct bicep work is called for in anyones training schedule (10-15 sets weekly)

Meh biceps are overrated anyway, or maybe because I found it difficult to get any triceps that I just appreciate them more.
Hopefully the pain goes away, how long have you had it?

The pain has been off and on for a couple of years but I think its here to stay now…:frowning:

HTS Training week 3 day 3

Deads - 395x2x1
3" Defecit Deads 425x3,1,1 405x2
CS DB Row - 80x10 85x10 100x10
DB rear fly - 30x20 35x20 45x10
Weighted Chins - 0x10 25x7 45x5
Floor Tri Ext - 70x20 110x15 110x11
Lat PD - 145x4x15
Grey Band Leg Curls - 4x15

I’m really feeling the deficit deads, I really get a chance to get low and its really going to help when I dead from the floor, only issue is sometimes I turn into a bloody tampon thinking Im gonna fall back when I pull back so I end up pulling too straight up, I corrected it on the second set of 425 and 405 I think. I also tried those floor tri extensions that was in a TN article I really liked the deadstop fashion of these…

those are pretty heavy deficit pulls

I like what they do for leg drive.

Absolutely dude, I really am getting my legs into the deads now, I really think it will translate off the floor…

Good looking overhead press. Going into your first deload week, correct?

Yessir…

It is a deload week, but I have to admit, deloads are tough for me. I did hold true to the deload except for Squats I actually hit a PR it went like so…I am really trying my damndest to follow the program to a tee, this has been my only hiccup so for thankfully it was a good one. I will not push my luck however.

405x1 squat - YouTube

4 wheels is a biggy. Great work, it came up fast.

Can’t wait until you tell Adam, LOL.

I struggle with the deload weeks, too. I asked him to keep the weights at a medium level for me because going back to heavy weights after a full deload just screws me up bad.
