3" Defecit Deads - 315,365,335x5 385x3
Regular Deads - 345x10
Leg Press - 3PPSx3x10
DB Row - 120x1x11
Lat Pulldowns - 140x4x15
Seated Band Leg Curls - 4x15
DB Shrugs - 80x20 120x20
Defecit deads went well, the lighter weight withstanding a slight 3 inch defecit makes a big difference. Seems to effect my lowerback a bit more though. I almost exclusively do chins and pullups, first time doing lat pulldowns in eons and I must say at the lighter weight I was able to target my lats more. A vid of the 385x3, two plates in my gym gives an exact 3" defecit, nice.
Nice pulls, but you should have kept filming because that tag team curling (reflection in mirror) was some great entertainment. And lol @ that guy getting psyched up for a set of curls.
LOL yeah dude we have some intense curlers at my gym…and of course they were doing it in a squat rack!
I won’t even curl in the power rack in my garage gym. It’s just wrong, lol.
Good pulling Matty. Try your floor presses straight legged with a three second pause at the bottom. Picked up that style from Meat and I definitely feel the difference doing them like this.

Just light stuffs…
DB Bench Press 5 sec pause at the bottom for time - 1:07 sec I counted 17 reps which is mathematically impossible unless I jumped the gun on a few reps, counting the secs plus reps plus the time itself was too much for my t-rex brain I guess.
Then some pull down abs, shoulder box 10x2x10, curls, Pushdowns nothing much of any consequence…
But I couldnt help myself

Quick update folks:
On the second week of Adam Hires’ program…he has stated that week 3 is when shit gets real…though even though the first two weeks are basically primers, my hammies are on fucking fire!
Really enjoy the training so far…going to do some 3 board CGBP today, went to the depot of home and had them cut up a 2x4 at 24" probably too long but should do the trick.
My hamstrings would get stupid sore when I was only using 135 on good mornings. And yes, the third week of each mini-cycle is when shit is fo reelz. I’m on week 7 and it will be a doozy.

My homemade board worked well, the first set the damn boards kept sliding down but then I saw a buddy of mine who held them in place for me. I will be cutting to of the boards down and leaving one at its current length for use as a handle…all in all with the weight as prescribed the movement was easy but my Tris are pretty sore this am.
