Just a thought, if squats are fucking with you then lower the weight on that set and knock some out at the lighter weight. It’s psychological (psycho something. If I let a lift beat me it really messes with my head. Don’t let it beat you, you’re better than it is.

Starting tomorrow, my squat setup will be like so: Monday hypertrophy focused, Wed front squats as usual, and Friday 351. I feel going heavy (for me) on Mondays may not contribute to helping my squat plight. Id like to add some size to my legs as they look like fingers.

What does hypertrophy focused look like to you?

A higher rep range in 10-12 area. with less concentration on weight and more attention to TUT and less to power. and hopefully some of that sarcoplasmic size I feel I need in my legs. I am hoping the adage of bigger muscle better strength will help increase my squat in the long run. 5x5 squats on Monday and 351 on Friday may be self defeating
