I’m gonna take a stab here and guess that you’ve never done sissy squats.

It seems like your just spouting off some line that you’ve heard someone else say before to try to sound “hardcore”.

Do 500 Hindu Squats and then tell me you need weight to get a good leg workout.
A true sissy squat involves the heel lifting off the ground, which is impossible with this apparatus.
It doesn’t allow any movement of the ankle, in fact, so it’s no better than any other silly machine that unnaturally limits the range of motion.
High rep hindu squats have been found to be overly taxing on the knees.
Doing 500 reps of any is difficult, that doesn’t mean it’s an optimal way to train.
If you’re trying to build you endurance, or create a high metabolic demand, then by all means, do high rep bodyweight squats.
If you want to build strong, powerful legs using bilateral squats, then I’m afraid you’ll need some added resistance.
