I can’t do one situp- seriously,
yet i run a 11.1 100metres…
No- I don’t understand why either…
I am 14 and have been doing my situps for a few years combine with weights and pushup etc. at the moment im Doing 100 situps 6 days a week and i have gone up to 200 on occaison . I have only done sit ups all this time and my abs are fine and better than most guys my age I suffer from no back injury i have seen many sites that reccomend crunches but the basic situp is the only i have found to tone the whole of my abdomen.

The kid who got me started weightlifting was totally in love with this exercie. As a consequence, I do it quite regularly. People in my gym always give me funny glances when I crank away on the situp bench, a big 'ole plate on my chest.
I think they’re great.
