Ever hear of that gym?[/quote]

No I can’t say I have. Though I only got into weight lifting about a year about.

Coinciding pretty much with when I moved down to Charlotte, NC temporarily to attend school. Though I graduate in November so I’m hoping to return to Albany/Schenectady area to start my career. I’ll have to check that gym out when I get back in the area.

You could use shotput balls. They’re also really good for open grip training (ie, try to palm one).

Water is 62.4 pcf (pounds per cubic foot)

Sand/soil ~120 pcf.
Assume wet sand as ~150 pcf
(These are approximations and vary based upon the Geotechnical properties of the soil)

Reinforced concrete is 150 pcf.

Structural Engineering is great!

The sad part is that I learned that rebar+concrete is 150 lbs/cf a few years ago, in school, and I will never forget that

PS: I am majoring in Constructon

I put river pebbles in my bags. They are bigger than sand, so they don’t fall out. I bought a few bags for 4 or 5 bucks each at the local hardware store. In case you don’t know, river pebbles are roundish and smooth and about the size of rabbit turds.
