My best standing overhead press is 215 for a rep. But for the past few months I been puttin dbs on my shoulders. I recently worked up to a pair of 100s for ten seated.
my best thread CPR is a 6 month old revival.
I have seen big chad aichs (at 375lbs) preform 405 for 10 reps on seated shoulder press like it as nothing. I could only hope to possess this kind of strength one day. I have never seen and or heard of anyone this strong. It gave me the goss bumps just watching it.

It’s just internet shit talk if you don’t have a video to post…
Please people, if you’re going to make claims, back it up with some sort of proof.
I’m 17. I have a dog, and I broke up with my girlfriend of a year.
Do I need video evidence of that?
Not everyone in the world is a lying scumbag, and I would hope not many of the regular members of this site are either. Get over that shit.
That guy is a legitimate monster.

That’s nothing, I do 88 pounds for 5 but I’m a hardgainer so it’s better.
Here’s me doing 135 for 3. For some reason I only have a video of my warm-up, not that I go much heavier. I do about 155-165 for 5x5. Don’t say anything bad about my glasses…I’m trying for a Norb Schemansky look.

Chrome dumbells for reps
Pink chrome? with a little cheating?
Strong compared to what though? A heavy weight champion bodybuilder, a normal person… a little girl?
I think 100lbs for 1 rep is pretty strong in comparison to the average person as I don’t know to many people that could even get that much weight from the floor into postion to press it much less actually get it over there head safely and then bring it back to the ground without seriously hurting themselves.
i do DB’s, not BB. but i do 100lb DB’s for 8 reps.

wat
while we’re on the subject…whats harder
Seated or Standing BB military press
Seated or Standing DB press?
and vice versa
Thanks.
Standing is harder, unless you throw in some sneaky cheating with knees/hips/toes. Reason - when seated, you are partially braced/supported.
Just so im not going to wide on the grip am i meant to have both hands outside the rings ?
Or is that to wide and should i bring it in ?

IMO, that’s too wide. I’m 6’1" and my entire hand sits just inside the rings.

ProfX: did you start using barbell presses for your shoulders like you did for your chest or did you always use machines?
I just wrote above that I used free weights for most movements. I rarely used machines when I first started. I first benched 405lbs about 4 years after I started training seriously. I’m not new at training and have already built a solid base of strength. To move past that point without the aid of a spotter and with a goal of avoiding injury, I began using more machines long after I had been using barbells and dumbbells for years as my main mass builders. I think some of you have a hard time understanding that how some lifter trains right now may not be how they trained to get to that point. The bigger and the stronger you get, the more changes are made in your approach.
I try and preach this very point to my buddy, He is friends with this lady named Mary who trains Tony Freeman pre contest and she is allways telling my buddy to do all this really high rep work and all these crazy leg workouts that would probably be great for a 300lb BBer but not a 180lb newbie. Now some lifters respond to very different stress but as far as im concerned you need to spend alot of time lifting heavy Barbells and Dumbells and doing compound movements before all this 30 rep leg extension bullshit comes into play.
See the Squat rack newb, its your new best friend.
