I’m maybe a 2.5. I tend to overweight, so that this is the first time I’ve tried to bulk up, and in two months I’ve gained 8 pounds, half fat (the last month it was mostly fat, the first month mostly not).
My question: is this a high ratio of fat gain to muscle gain for someone eating pretty clean? I was disappointed, given how much effort it took to lose the fat in the first place.
I’m now cutting down a bit on my (extra) calories (maybe if I go slower the ratio will be better) and trying to eat better, plus taking creatine.
