I’m still trying to determine this. If I’m over 10% bodyfat and am supposed to drink (according to Don Alessi) 2-3 scoops of low-carb Grow! plus added glutamine post-workout, does that mean I should skip the Surge DURING my workout and just drink water, or Grow! Or what?
Based on what Alessi said, someone with your %body fat should not drink anything during the workout and then consume 2 scoops AP with added glutamine (I forget the dose).
What if I was to drink the same formula during the workout? Would that have any effect, or should I just stick with water?
Jason, where did Alessi give his recommendations for workout nutrition? I must have missed it and I can’t find it. Thanks in advance.
It is in the Meltdown Training #2 article. I’m just assuming that the same stuff applies to the first Meltdown article and it seems to based on what he has written in the past.
