What time do you guys train?

Hi guys, what time do you train?

I train at around 8.30 pm. I usually get back from the gym at 9.30 - 10pm, have my Surge, and have another meal at 11.30pm. I usually go to bed at 12 midnight and wake around 7.30 am.

4:50 am. I’m up early, get my mental feeding in, then hit the iron, all before work.

5:30 am. Feels great once you get used to it. I work full time, then go to school full time in the evenings so this is the only time I have to workout. The only bad thing is it is very hard to get back on schedule if you get off, plus you feel great all day.

Four days a week, I’ll get up at 4AM and perform a session of jump rope and stretching. Ko and I train at either 4 or 5PM. I actually prefer either 10PM or 5AM for the weights.

Whenever I can, which makes planning my diets a little interesting sometimes.

12pm lifting, 8pm GPP/agility work.

I’m Training at 4 a.m. for weights and cardio during my lunch hour. Only time to train when you have a newborn son. Gets very interesting on lack of sleep!

I get up at 5:00 a.m. to do cardio and weight train from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

2pm, so I have at least 3 high carb meals in me, canget 2 more high carb ones in then the rest of the day just protein. I work at night as a doorman, so free all day

I have class at either 11am or noon (after a one hour commute), so I’ll hit it up at 8:00 if I’m up in time. If not, usually at 4:00. I generally like to train as early in the day as I’m able to.

I usually train late around 10PM onwards. I would spend about an hour and 15 minutes there plus the half hour total commute. So about 12PM more or less I slug down a post workout shake. Then about 45 minutes to an hour later I have a moderate protein carb meal. Then finally an hour later I’ll have my nighttime shake of protein and fat right before I go to sleep. Luckily my work and school schedule permit this since everything ususally starts later in the day for me.

I’m usually lifting around 7pm. 11:30 on fridays as its the only time available i can get into the weightroom with the hours it has.

Just a suggestion, but instead of waiting until you get home, I’d recommend the 1/2 serving surge during workout, and 1/2 serving maybe on the ride home. Just bring the surge along, i’m sure you have access to water to mix it with.

I have my racquetball class (credit for cardio :P) at 10:10 - 11:00am, I then go to my other class then come back to the gym at 12:1 or so to pump iron. Usually pumping for about an hour, hit the showers, then head home. Do this every MWF.

5 AM M-F. There is a decently equipped gym in the building I work in and parking is hard to find any later than 6 AM. So, I get my workout in, shower and start work at 7. Only time I ever miss a workout is when I call in sick. Herc

With some of the info offered by JB and Lonnie Lowery at the SWIS Symposium on the brain, I’m trying to switch to mid-morning workouts in order to take advantage and create a little more insluin sensitivity.

It allows me to moderately load on carbs through the days and do Pro+Fat in the evenings.

I work at 5 AM I workout in the evening, usually around 5-6.

As I work shift work, my training is all over the place. When I’m working days I train around 3:00pm at the firehall. (nice to get paid to train) When I’m working nights, I like to work out first thing in the morning after my shift.( about 7:30am) On day’s off I like to train around 10:00am. If I had a choice, 10:00am would be the time I would train every day. I feel most awake and strongest at this time.
