What the Hell? Muscle? Synthol?

LOL. I’d sacrifice penis size to have legs like that (then again, I’m already married).

Then again, that would get you divorced.
HA!
If she cared about getting laid she would of divorced me a year ago!

(I can’t wait until she reads this, I might be grounded from T-Nation for a while)

A LOT of it is the angle. There is no doubt that he has huge legs, but the way people are acting in this thread, it makes me wonder if they actually lift weights any harder than those old people I see jumping on random machines yet removing the pin on each so there is no weight being lifted.

But it’s not just the size. It’s the way it looks completely flat unflexed, and when he flexes you can see each individual muscle. Plus the jiggling…

I’m gonna say he injected his muscles with flubber.
Pro bodybuilders, including Dorian Yates the first year or two, used to shake their legs like that before they flexed them on stage. It caught in the late 80’s and lasted until I can only guess the bodies got so large that it wasn’t plausible. I rarely see anyone do it outside of NPC anymore.

I have much work left to go…DOH!

Fucking huge!

I better quit working legs. I don’t want to accidentally look like that one day.

The quad shake is classic. I think Ruhl did it at the last Olympia.

For the record, the legs in that video are incredibly impressive, not disturbing. And I thought that I had trouble buying pants that fit…

I also thought that with the shake you could prevent some cramps during posing, that true?

Honestly I don’t understand what all the fuss is about.

Pretty freaky! Those gams are bigger than some of the pipsqueaks at the gym. Wonder how his waddle is - like a cowboy after a cross country ride, or a guy after his first night in prison? Man, the chafing has got to be killer.
In the Platz vid - always liked Platz cause his hair was as thick as his thighs - I love the way you can see the muscles condense into granite as he flexes. Lee Priest does the jell-o shake too in his video - his hamstrings just hanging like slabs of meat are impressive.
Certainly appropriate image for the words of wisdom today.

I think he has really impressive legs. I think he has neglected his upper body (in comparison) and to me it looks like he has a lot of potential if he did apply the same effort to his upper body.

I also find it unusual to see someone who works legs, let alone specialises in them. Mind you, I don’t get out much.

Muscle isn’t supposed to look like that, right? I’m very confused, because I don’t think synthol looks like that either. What is going on here?
No, definitely real muscle. He can flex it, and it has striations.
Pretty f*ckin incredible though.
mrdav2u wrote:
No, I’m totally serious. Look at his left leg. There’s a friggin hole in it!

… but other than the weird scar those legs look “normal” enough to me… freaky jacked but not synthetically or artificially so.
No doubt about it. Amazing development; when he hits the shots you can definitely tell it’s real. I remember seeing Paul DeMayo do the “shake” one time on TV back in the 90s. It looked like a pot roast in a pillowcase. Then he flexed.

So: whose legs are those?

I don’t think they’re Platz’.

My guess is Cutler; looks like his calves.

They look too small to be Platz. I’m not sure who it is.

Pretty sure it’s Platz. I remeber that pic from way back. Cutler never had quads and adductors that good.

It’s not Platz. First, the guy in the video is young and doesn’t have Platz’s massive masseter muscles (cheeks) and Platz had legs bigger than that at his peak.

no your wrong mate, those legs are fucked up, i bet the bloke can barely walk down the street…

Yeah, Ruhl does it all the time.

And God … the video … that’s amazing.
MODOK wrote:
These legs are just big legs…nothing amazing about them. Every high level bodybuilder, and many many amateurs have legs that big.
Dude, he has fibrous striations in his vastus lateralus. That is NOT commonplace. I would agree that the angle of the video makes it look all-the-more impressive, but those legs are nothing short of incredible.
