Do you have a better example of someone from modern times who has displayed meaningful masculinity?

Assuming youāre being sarcastic?
It is difficult to choose someone among politicians. Images created by propagandists. That what I kept in mind when wrote about the unsuccessful example.
Doesnāt have to be a politician. To be honest, I think very few politicians would meet the criteria of āmasculineā.
Can be any single well-known person whoās masculinity has been on display.
I would not give such a credit of trust to anybody. Representations of well-known persons are always distorted more or less. 100% idol of masculinity is hardly exist.
So then perhaps @TC_Luomaās example wasnāt all that bad after all?
An author is free to choose examples and his readers are free to express there points of view.
- Criticizes authorās example
- Unable to name a better example (for good reason)
- Says āIām free to express my opinionā
Classy.
Jesus, how many Russian operatives have been assigned to the T-Nation task force?
But not the author personally.
Gave the reason why it is not possible.
That is true.
Itās certainly possible to cast aspersions on Zelenskyās motivations, since no one can really know whatās in his heart. Maybe heās a patriot who stood his ground in spite of personal risk for love of home and country and an understanding of the duty that he has as president to protect and lead his people in times of attack. Maybe heās a corrupt, kleptocratic thug who stood his ground in spite of personal risk because he wants to solidify his power and continue to benefit from the systems that he controls. Maybe itās both. The selfish and the selfless live in every man, to some extent or another.
But either way, he has shown himself to be a man with a mission that he is willing to fight and take risks for. He has certainly shown that he has social competence and charisma. That makes him a good example of masculinity. That isnāt a carte-blanche statement on anything he might do in the future.
@ALEXandR Iām curious how deep your cover story goes. Where are you from? How old are you? Do you even lift? Not asking for personally identifying details. Just curious what kind of person you are pretending to be.
The only ones left after the Ukranians got done with them. ![]()
Would like to see a āWhat passes for femininity is Stupidā, post next.
It is not difficult to make a conclusion. I am Russian.
Our discussion leads to political issues. I do not see any sense. But still.
I admit that I donāt cover all the details of the aryicle. I do not apply. My message did not touch all the aspects of the topic. Only the example, chosen by the author and the personality of Zelensky. Once again, I did not mean to hurt the author.
The author of the resource, that I respect, which, as I thought, was out of policy, choose the example that praise and extol the man, associated with the enemies of my country. The text, taken from WSJ, is onesided.
I challenged the example because I do not consider that man as example of real masculinity and as a leader, who leads his country against invaders. I see him as an empty dummy, moved by external actors. His actions and speeches are generated by the manipulators. Can a dummy be masculine? Perhaps. As a hostage. Because of hopelessness. Can a rascal be masculine? In that case, yes. And an actor too, can be.
Unfortunately, millions of people in Ukraine and in Russia became real hostages of the situation.
Not propaganda. Just alternative point of view.
As for lifting, that is my hobby, I enjoy it very much. That is why I am on T Nation. That is the best thematic web resource that I know.
You win the thread sir
Have you volunteered for the special operation to denazify Ukraine yet?
You should come set the record straight in this thread:
Theres a lot of misunderstanding of the situation, and Iām sure you could give insight and clarity to them.
Zelensky??? This is a dude who thrusts his hips on TV wearing make up. He is a degenerate.
