Every time you hock one up, you’ve said something in Arabic…
@pat
hilarious but a little true! It is very hard to speak but they knew what I was saying when I spoke.
@Yogi1 people like to get me to talk and say specific words. Of course I don’t notice it but get called out all the time for it.
are you a proper Southern belle, like “y’all come back now, y’hear?”
@Yogi1 Hell no I say “y’all stay the f*** off my property or I’ll get the gun and have my dog bubba come run you off”
…joking, yes I’m proper or try to be! I talk similar to Reese Witherspoon in the movie Sweet Home Alabama. I have manners but sometimes my words are not so lady like.
Awesome. Do you have a double-barrelled name like Mary-Lou or Sara-Beth? Something like that?
I know how to say sweet things to girls in about a dozen languages. It was quite handy in college, particularly with the Norwegian and Swedish.
I speak Mandarin, my high school teaches it. I can help you out some

My (other) future wife
Her hair looks slightly unkempt like I’ve just ruffled it playfully and she is looking at me with a slightly amused eyeroll stating “this is 3rd time this morning that you have done that, now stop playing, I need to get to work. Can you help me out of this ridiculously sexually enticing top so I can put something more suitable on?”
…
…
And we lived happily ever after!
Oh by the way, she never got that more suitable top back on, in fact she never left for work either ![]()
I regret starting this thread now.
Lmao thats enough storytime for me
I don’t know the language, but I like Gaelic or Viking history, that’s why my login name is “gaelic”.

I’m a bit of a polyglot - I moved a lot as a kid so I picked up quite a few languages and I have to say it’s a favorite hobby of mine - I’m fascinated by the etymological differences between language groups.
