What is 'The Diet'?

I’ve been lurking around TMUSCLE for quite a while and hear a lot of people talking about ‘the diet’ and how it’s hard to stick to ‘the diet’ but nobody ever talks about what ‘the diet’ really is which led me to post this. What is ‘the diet’ really?

There isn’t a single diet. If your reading the correct articles, that are based on facts, studies, and experimentation, I’m sure they will mention the name of the diet.

A lot of people here utilize carb cycling, but I wouldn’t qualify that as a diet per se.
