A peptide supplement that helps with cell, hair, skin, joint regenration
I’m not quite 40 (I turn 39 this year), but I have been absolutely loving P-Well.
im doing great in the pwell department
Glad to hear it dude! After that, I’d go for Flameout. Then, from there, probably a tossup between ElitePro Minerals and Micellar Curcumin. Which isn’t to say that the other more traditional supplements aren’t awesome as well, but these are specific to the 40+ crowd. ElitePro really helped with my sleep quality, and minimizing inflammation is a big thing as we age.
sleep ,hair, pwell department… im good… i mean i dont smoke, drink or use … im just thinking …that given im 43 now … what kind of preventaive supplements should i consider taking on top of ch alpha " joint protection",vit d,vit c, centrum. Something mainly that would enhance or help with cell regenration
Sermorelin or cjc/ipamorelin.
You’re not going to grow new hair, but the hair you have will grow faster. They for sure help with your list.
Human Growth Hormone.
This made me laugh. But it’s true.
After 40 we go into maintenance mode. Don’t eat shit. Your diet will have a multitude of effects that affect everything.
Stay leaner and more muscular than your peers.
For supps, collagen, fish oil, biotin, any anti-inflammatory like curicummin that dosen’t fuck with liver function, and cold therapy, sun exposure.
For skin and hair, get a routine in place. Your body is a shell adapting to the outside as much as the inside.
A few days ago, I was researching HGH and discovered that one of its major side effects is the potential development of tumors. In a podcast I listened to, it was mentioned that HGH, like BPC-157 and TB-500, lacks sufficient studies. While these substances have some benefits, the drawbacks significantly outweigh the advantages.
not sure how much truth the above holds … but would you recommend HGH as a safe supplement?
I wonder if this is based more on common sense (if it helps muscles grow, why wouldn’t it also help tumors grow) than on science.
Do more research.
What are sufficient studies? It has been around since the 50’s. There are many long term studies.
The SAGhE Study followed patients who started GH treatment in childhood for over 20 years.
NordiNet IOS and ANSWER Program
Long-term observational studies examining GH replacement therapy in adults. Included data on patients aged 60 years and older, providing insights into long-term effects.
It’s a drug, not a supplement.
My son takes it so I’ve been doing as much research as I can.
To sum it up, it doesn’t cause tumors, but it might be a permissive factor, so if everything isn’t on point with the rest of your lifestyle, it could happen.
The only thing I’ve come across is a with a pituary tumor you could end up like Andre the Giant and produce a wild amount naturally. He refused treatment because he worried it would hurt his his career, but died of an enlarged heart and congestive heart failure, not from the tumor.
Plus I don’t know of any bodybuilders who have admitted to using, or are suspected of it who had cancer without some obvious other obvious factor.

During my 40’s I took HGH for all of the Master’s Nationals that I entered. Albeit I could not afford to take large quantities. I usually took 2 IU’s every other day starting 8 weeks out. Not to mention I am only a n=1.
I need to clarify my statement - any bodybuilders who have blamed it for causing cancer/tumors, if they had them.
Not to be weird, but as a younger dude, what are you noticing?
Stress management is more important than any supplement.
Terrible sleeper here… Elite really helped?
HGH as a supplement? $$$$$… maximize all other aspects of recovery, sleep, nutrition, training first
Magnesium glycinate and zinc, top ingredients in Elite Pro, are good for sleeping. Some studies say they increase HGH, IGF-1 and Test, too.
Iodine is another good mineral for hormones. Bodybuilders have been getting it from cranberry juice for a long time.
It’s insane. My kid does .5 daily and it costs between 2.5k or 3k per month. And the little fucker is only 3 years old and 50 lbs.
Focus on the other supps and lifestyle advice first.
